You are the summoned heroes.

The king looked down at the six individuals standing before him, his eyes scanning their faces. The throne room was filled with an air of tension as everyone awaited his response.

"You were summoned here by a ritual, a relic called the summoning stones brought you here, from different worlds to heed the call of the king," He began, his voice steady and commanding. "Although it was not my intention to summon you so far out in the land, I apologize for that, hopefully I can make it up to you."

One of the individuals, a young boy with blue shining hair and wearing a restaurant's uniform, spoke up. "Are you some kind of dark magic cult, holding us against our will?".

The king's gaze turned to the boy, his expression stern. "I can assure you, we are not wizards or witches, you are not in any danger, and it's quite natural to feel endangered. I understand you have a lot of questions, but sadly I cannot answer them all."

"Then answer this," a man wearing black clothing, a hat and a guitar behind his back, raised his question. "What are we doing here?".

The king cleared his throat before he responded. "My kingdom has been under numerous attacks from the dragon king Veremos, a powerful celestial that is obsessed with the hidden powers my daughter possesses."

The individuals exchanged glances, confusion and disbelief evident on their faces. "What do you need us to do?" One of them finally spoke up.

"I need you to train, own your places as heroes" the king replied, his gaze steady. "You are all skilled individuals in your respective worlds, and I believe with the right training and guidance, you can help us defeat Veremos and save my daughter."

Ethan's eyes darted to the side and he could see the pent up expressions on their faces.

Ethan observed the tense expressions on his companions' faces, their bodies almost quivering with anger. They appeared on the verge of rushing forward to confront the king and deliver a swift blow to his face.

'I suspected as much.' Ethan muttered, his expression calm and collected as he diverted his attention back to the king. 'In a light novel, this might be easier, but in reality...these people are unlikely to sit idly by and just roll with it.'

As if on cue, one of the individuals stepped forward. He had long, flowing blue hair and was dressed in the restaurant outfit. Pointing an accusatory finger at the king, he barked, "What kind of a con job are you trying to pull, old man?!".

"You expect us to believe that load of bullshit!" The man yelled, "Look here pal, if you are among those dark shitty organizations, I swear to God imma kill you".

Hearing this, all the knights immediately drew out their swords and moved closer to the king.

"Calm down, you don't have to overreact so early in the game, young man." A man, who was among the six people standing in front of the king, said to the street thug.

The man's voice was calm and measured, cutting through the tension in the throne room. His black outfit and hat gave him an air of mystery, and the guitar on his back only added to his intriguing presence.

The street thug hesitated for a moment, looking at the man before him. His anger seemed to dissipate slightly as he listened to the stranger's words.

"You don't have to believe anything, but let's hear the king out first before we make any rash decisions," The man continued, his eyes fixed on the king.

The king nodded in agreement, grateful for the newcomer's intervention. The knights lowered their swords, but remained on high alert, ready to strike at any moment.

Ethan watched the scene unfold, silently taking note of the different personalities among the summoned individuals. He couldn't help but wonder how they would all work together to overcome the challenges they were sure to face in this strange new world.

The king continued as the air was calm again, "And please don't get the wrong assumption that you won't be compensated for this, you'll get all the women's riches and lands you want, that is the privilege of the heroes" The king paused and turned to his personal adviser beside him before he whispered in his ear.

The room was silent for a moment as the king's words sunk in. The offer of riches and land seemed to have caught the attention of some of the individuals standing before him, while others remained suspicious.

Ethan couldn't help but feel uneasy about the whole situation. 'What kind of world is this where the king can just offer lands and women as if they were nothing?' He thought to himself.

As the king's adviser whispered in his ear, the king turned his attention back to the group. "Now, I understand that you have just arrived here and you must be tired from your journey," he said. "I will have my servants show you to your quarters where you can rest and freshen up."

With a wave of his hand, the king signaled to his servants who appeared from the shadows to lead the group away.

Ethan followed behind the others, still lost in thought about the situation. 'What kind of adventure have I gotten myself into?' he thought.

The six individuals were escorted to two separate rooms, each spacious enough to accommodate at least twenty people. The walls were adorned with intricate tapestries and paintings depicting the history of Nelvora. As they entered, Ethan's sharp eyes scanned the room, assessing its safety.

As they settled in, the tension between the six individuals dissipated slowly, and a young girl wearing a high school uniform broke the silence with a sigh, "We're supposed to spend the night here. How lame."

Ethan observed the others in the room. One man had a guitar strapped to his back, and his fingers seemed to twitch as if yearning to play.

Another girl looked like a warrior, with a sharp glint in her eye, ready for anything that might come her way. The rest of them seemed ordinary, but he sensed an air of hidden strength within them.

Ethan leaned against the wall, his thoughts wandering. What kind of adventure had he been thrown into? He wondered how they could return to their own worlds, or if it was even possible.
