Taking stock

Nick extended his magical senses to sweep the room for any still living entities but having found none he waved his wand "SCOURGIFY!" he said and a stream of magical cleaning bubbles sprayed out and went to work scouring the giant room clean. While the spell was working it's magic(pun very much intended) he turned his attention to the broken glass walls of the greenhouse that he could see. The damage wasn't that bad all things considered as there was merely a few small holes and a single large one well hidden in the corner.-

Waving his wand "REPARO!" he spoke and the shattered glass repaired itself returning the greenhouse to it's optimal state. Ten minutes later the cleaning spell finished it's work and got rid of the excess soil , dust and stains from the various fluids that soak out of corpses. Unfortunately it didn't get rid of the bones though it did clean them to a yellowish color. Collecting the bones that he might be able to use to make rings and banishing the rest Nick marvels at how expansive the greenhouse actually was. It was easily the size of a football field in both width and length while the ceiling was nearly thirty feet high.-

The sunlight streaming in between the vines covering the outside of the greenhouse created a mysterious twilight like effect within the room as if he was standing in a forest. "Despite not paying much attention to potioneering my mother had one of the most impressive collections of magical plants and animals for her time. It's a shame to see all of that hard work reduced almost to the point of nothingness. Makes me wonder what was so valuable about that tree we saw in the vault." Helena said with a sad expression.-

Nick had to stop[ himself from saying that the tree in the vault was worth a thousand gardens of other normal magical plants. This was no exaggeration either as the "singular" trait of the tree in the systems appraisal confused him so he brought up its description. What it actually meant was not that this was the last one of it's kind but rather the ONLY one of it's kind to ever exist on earth. This means that unlike all these other plants that multiply and can be raised the tree was the be all end all of itself.-

This meant that the golden apple tree was an irreplaceable and priceless treasure and Nick very much planed to hoard it away like it was. 'Before any of that though I need to get a thorough look at the island to take stock of how much needs to be cleared out and how much can be left alone.' he thought before leaving the greenhouse and returning inside the manor. "Dotty!" he called out and the house elf immediately popped up out of nowhere. "The carriage is cleaned up as commanded , how can Dotty serve?" the house elf asked eagerly.-

"I need you to clean out all of the belongings in the master bedroom without damaging anything , place it all in one of the spare bedrooms." Nick said and Dotty saluted and vanished again. Looking at the large bird still sitting on his shoulder Nick asked it to get off of him since he was starting to hurt. The Ho-ho(pronounced WHO-WHO) hopped off Nick and onto the stone floors without a fuss and Nick rolled his shoulder to try and work out the ache there as he walked out the front door of the manor.-

Pulling his broom out of Greed he mounted it and rose into the air easily and smoothly. He almost fell into the temptation of just soaring thorough the sky but he needed to get this done as soon as possible. Rising high into the air Nick finally got a full look at the island and was surprised at what he saw. Despite being a plant covered mess it was actually fairly large as it easily covered about ten miles in each direction from the center that had the manor. His eyes narrowed however when he saw the shape of the island that was suspiciously circular.-

It was almost like someone had perfectly cut out a massive circle from the seafloor and raised it up above the water. 'It might be more accurate to say that someone cut off the excess until only this circle remained.' he thought seriously. Ignoring that though he saw several different species of magical creatures on the island beyond those he came across previously. Graphorns , dryads , faeries and even a small flock of gryphcats which were cat sized gryphon creatures at the edge of the island. The smaller things that hid in the vegetation couldn't be seen though.
