Kian's P. O. V
I trusted him. I didn't know why, but without Silas here, I felt a connection to Davien, enough for me to leave Keegan in his hands and go after my real target.
With everyone focused on Davien and keegan, I tried to slip out of the room and go find her, however, that proved difficult, because just as I reached to push the doors back, a hand grabbed my leg, and then flung me at the nearest wall.
My hands quickly wrapped themselves over my stomach, instinctively protecting the child, whilst I braced my body for the impact.
I lowered my jaw in a whimper when my back collided against the wall, but didn't make any more sound. I stole a glance at Davien's direction, and just as I expected, he was already engaged in combat with Keegan. He was too engrossed in blocking off the bastard's punches to notice anyone else.
