Davien's P. O. V

The elevator took us to the rooftop, which was decorated to suit an after-party of some sort. Watching the mischievous glint in Jonas' eyes, I knew for a fact we weren't supposed to be here.

But that made it all the more worthwhile.

"The air is so much more refreshing here. I felt I would suffocate inside." Jonas announced in a loud voice, then slanted himself next to one of the reclining chair next to the pool area.

He tapped the seat next to him, "Want to star gaze with me?" He asked, while twirling his braided hair with his index finger.

I wasn't particularly interested in the stars, but I needed a distraction to keep my mind from trailing to Kian's kiss. Hence, I plopped myself next to him, and stared at the midnight blue sky, which was surprisingly filled with stars.

"How come I've never noticed these before?" I voiced out my thoughts, wondering why I never thought to look at the stars while on a hunt.
