After forcing myself to talk to the officers and explaining the entire situation, they finally let me go after hearing a word of affirmation from Kian that it really was a misunderstanding. By the time they left, it was already mid-afternoon, and I wasn't certain if Kian had eaten anything.

So, I went out to get him something to eat from some of the stalls. As I navigated through the crowds, I recalled how I used to come to this place often when it newly opened to hang out with Louis, back when we were still close.
