Davien's P. O. V
The little fight we had lasted for a while until I ended up calling a truce after noticing that Kian's kicks were getting slower due to how tired out he was. Despite his physical disposition, his wounds had not fully healed and this play did nothing but place stress on him.
Instead, I placed my arms on the dried grass next to him, whilst my body remained submerged under the water. He had taken off his shirt to dry but insisted that his pants weren't wet.
Not that I believed him.
"Are you sure you don't want to take a dip? The water is refreshing." I offered for the upteenth time, unable to look away from his upper body.
"I don't want the bandages to come undone, I'm fine here." He declined, I shrugged my shoulders, "Suit yourself then."
"And you? Why are you with me?" He asked all of a sudden, "You could very well be with a woman from your pack or at work, what are you doing coming here with me?"
