They are on their way to the Inner Circle just like what they initially planned. Baku was speeding past through the gaps and shrubbery of the Middle Circle.

Of course, Luis is pumping up massive amounts of nature's energy to supply the energy of this cute yet humongous serpentine dragon. Baku is not a typical beast that gets tired. As long as he got a stable supply of nature's energy, he could move in tip-top shape.

"I did tell you but you weren't listening. You are so immersed in your musings," Xagrien, who was sitting behind Luis, pointed out. 

He did mention that he could trace the lingering mana of those ice lizard-like creatures that are a product of a powerful illusion spell.
