The Storm (1)

"Xagrien," Luis weakly whispered, his face painted with surprise. A distressing surprise.

Mori was the name of Xagrien's mother. He is a bearer from the one of the lightning clans, and someone whom this man silently cherished. 

Luis could still remember the soft and happy gaze that this man had in his eyes when he was retelling stories about his mother as a child… and how heartbroken he was when he told him that he had already passed.

At that time, Luis didn't press on and ask about the details because Xagrien was obviously blue at that time.

"It's o-" he tried to console the man and reached to wipe Xagrien's looming tears from the corner of his eyes.

Slap! Xagrien swatted his hand harshly and Luis could only stare at Xagrien with surprise. The man is not in a better state; he was also wide-eyed upon realizing what he did.
