chapter 2: Daily life

"Kai'er where are you son."

I heard my mother's voice calling me. Since I was born, my parents took good care of me and loved me.

I also love them as children love their parents.

In my previous life I was an orphan living in a slum. Because of that, this is the first time I feel living with my parents.

A beautiful woman with long red hair came in, she was my mother.

My father said in a very low whisper, though with my mother's heightened senses she could still hear everything.

" What honey? Am I scary? Really, I wonder how I can be scary, do you want me to give you an example so I can understand how I'm scary?"

My mom asked my dad with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

Really, without being told by my father. I also know that my mother is scary when angry.

My mother's usual trait is to pamper me a lot, and sometimes will be very strict about things. Despite that she is usually very cheerful in everyday life.

For my father's character is that he is very diligent in his work, but he is a kind and caring person. Maybe that's why he is much liked by his business partners.

When I was at home, my father's character would be 'a husband afraid of his wife'. Even though I know the reason but to see it in person feels weird.

I looked at my father who was smiling like an idiot at my mother.

Ignoring my goofy father, my mother who was still at the door walked over to me and picked me up.

"Come on Kai'er, it's already late. Time to sleep."

She walked out of the room past my father who still had that goofy grin on his face.

I'm trying to get out of my mother's arms, I want to walk alone.

Even though I can't walk on my own yet, if I'm led I will.

Because of that I want to walk alone guided by my mother, this is my practice so that I can quickly grow strong.

" Hm? What's wrong Kai'er? Are you trying to walk on your own again? *Sigh*... Is this correct? My own son is almost able to walk and another child is still in his mother's arms."

Don't equate me with other children, even though my body is still a baby but mentally I am an adult. I would be embarrassed if I was beaten by another baby.

I tried harder to get out of my mother's arms.

She put me down and took my hands. This way I can walk, even with help.
