Chapter 69- Lex – Where is She Volume 3

"I cannot believe the audacity of that woman." I roared to the empty halls around me. I was standing alone in the castle, staring out at the night and waiting for Talia to come back.

"She gets a random invitation from a demon she's never met, and suddenly, she is flying off to meet them in the middle of the night. When things are the most dangerous here in the underworld. Is she serious?" My growling rage was for no one and everyone. Not that anyone other than me could hear it. 

There was no staff here in the castle. Rudy's family was in their quarters, waiting for things to settle down and safety to be restored. If anyone could ever claim that the underworld was a safe place.

Rudy was still in the dungeon with the prisoners. He had been there most of the day, after Talia and I brought those people here to talk to. Most of them seemed to be alright, but they were still enemies in my opinion.
