The Nogitsune was a very twisted being, down to its actions and how it thinks, Kira quickly realized after listening to it speak through Allison's body.
She knew what it wanted. It wanted to use a special ability of hers as a thunder kitsune, foxfire, to regain its rapidly depleting strength. She didn't know how it was going to do it, only that her mother told her it was one hundred percent possible, which was why it attempted to kidnap her a while back.
"Don't worry, Kira. It won't hurt you, not this part at least." Allison snickered as she came closer to her tied up prisoner with a very thick electrical wire in her hands.
Kira shifted uncomfortably where she was held but all her struggles did was draw more mocking snickers from Allison.
"Don't worry, it'll be over soon." Allison cooed almost rapturously.
A faint humming sound that slowly got louder could be heard from the wire as it drew closer to Kira, and it even started emitting sparks where it was mere centimeters from Kira's body.
"This is the eclipse of a rebirth." With those ominous words, and not an ounce of remorse, Allison grabbed Kira's right hand and used it to cover the mouth of the wire.
The moment Kira's hands made contact with the wire, an electromagnetic wave surged from her body that pushed Allison away as it spread farther into the town, taking the electricity block by block as it did.
Even from here, the Nogitsune could feel the deaths of the few people that died due to circuits, appliances and power lines exploding due to the abrupt power outage.
"Finally." It rasped longingly as it looked upon Kira's glowing form that cackled with electricity while the girl herself looked at her body in a daze.
Before Kira could realize what was happening, Allison grabbed her hands and the electricity around her body started raging wildly and covering both of them.
"Give it all to me!~" Allison let out a shrill demonic snarl as she started siphoning the foxfire from Kira's body, not letting up until every supernatural glow left Kira's body.
"Kekekekekeke~" A rasp laugh echoed out maniacally around Kira, who had collapsed to the ground, and Allison whose eyes suddenly turned full black and gained a tint of black aura over her body.
Allison broke out from her transfixion and raised Kira up from the ground with her hands around the poor girl's neck.
"You're a bit too late, Tris…tan." There was a slither to its words spoken through Allison's mouth.
And as if in response to her words, a red blur crashed a few meters from them.
"How do you feel when—"
TZSSSS! FWOOOSH!
A red appendage was already wrapping around Kira's body before it could finish its words, and was just as quickly trying to engulf the hand holding Kira's neck but it was quick enough to react to that one and released her neck just before the blood around Kira tried turning it into a pincushion.
When the dust cleared, both girl and spirit were made witness to the difference in Tristan's current form than what they were used to.
Wriggling blood completely covered half of Tristan's face, like a red half mask made of water, along with one of his hands, turning it into a very flexible bloody limb that was twice the length of his normal hand. Unlike before, he sported no blood tails this time around but his half blood-masked face and the darkened half of his transformed vampiric face made a more sinister look than anything he'd ever put on.
"Uh uh." Allison waved her fingers teasingly at Tristan's menacing figure and asked with a patronizing smirk plastered on her face. "Do you really want to kill your dear friend?"
"Huh?" The Nogitsune glanced at him questioningly as it noticed that while the dust from Tristan's crash landing had cleared, plumes of smoke were still surrounding him.
—!!
It immediately reacted but was unfortunately a bit too slow to dodge the lariat that Tristan's tentacle limb dug into Allison's body.
CRASH! DRNNNNNG!
Kira covered her ears at the sound of Allison crashing through walls and weak iron bars, only being able to catch a red blur that was soon followed by choking sounds.
"Hehe… Hehe. You really want to kill me in her body but you're still hesitating, why?~"
Before it could say another word, Tristan slammed Allison's body into the ground, destroying the floor they were on and bringing them to the lower floor.
She grabbed Tristan's neck and used her other hand to grab the hand choking her neck, seemingly not caring about what Tristan was doing to her. A testament to her body's new strength was that she was slowly and calmly uncurling Tristan's fingers around her neck, only for her calm to falter when holes were riddled through her hands from the blood spikes that sprouted out from Tristan's hands and neck.
"Ahhhhhhhh!" Allison's voice took another pitch as she screamed in pain, tears pooling out of her eyes as she stared in horror at her bloody hands.
"T… stan." She stared disbelievingly at Tristan, her face a perpetual cast of horror, her words a mixture of syllables and choked sobs. "I…it w..w..wasn't me— kugh!"
All she received in reply was a tighter grasp around her neck and one cold red eye staring apathetically at her.
"Hehehehehehehe…" Allison's face darkened as she struggled to laugh with how tight Tristan was grabbing her night. "Oh, how wonderful!"
Allison's face had a strained smile on it as she heard the soft growl of annoyance that escaped Tristan's lips as five intruders appeared behind him.
"What… will… it… be? Kill… me… yourself… or… let… them… do… it?"
Turning around with Allison still in his hands, Tristan regarded the five Oni standing behind him with glowing eyes. From what he could feel, these ones were a lot stronger than the two groups that came to his house.
"Leave." A vibrating baritone ordered, the nature of the voice letting them know that it'll accept no other choice than obedience.
GRRRL.
The first one did not realize when its own sword severed its body straight through from its head down to its torso.
Bzzzt. Bzzzt.
The body dissolved into swirling smoke that revealed a firefly that buzzed around—
SQUELCH.
The firefly suddenly found itself pinned to the wall with a blood needle running through it, its light dimming with flickers as its life ended.
The other four reacted only after these fast and immediate series of events occurred, but alas they too were late.
SLASH. SLASH.
Two more were divided, as well as their firefly hearts stabbed through with a blood needle.
SQUELCH. SQUELCH.
The last two were not slashed through, instead Tristan's blood limb divided into two and stabbed straight into them and pulled out the crushed fireflies.
He turned to Allison who was watching all this with an amused smirk on her face.
"You didn't think it would be this easy, did you?"
His limbs whipped out two projectiles that shot out to two different parts of the building and froze the vervain grenades Allison had rigged to blow up and cover the whole building in a cloud of vervain.
As if that wasn't enough, a few more blood projectiles were shot in seemingly random directions but Allison who saw this lost her amused smirk as Tristan just disabled and froze all the traps and weapons she'd set up all over the building.
"Get out."
"Make me."
The scenery around them abruptly changed and Tristan found himself in the middle of the woods in his human form except with the inclusion of his red eyes that calmly surveyed the rather familiar environment.
He could see nothing wrong in the scope of his vision but this was an illusion so he knew not to trust his senses, and with that he took his first step only to find himself now standing alone in his school's empty hallway.
"This is where you are holding her." Tristan stated knowingly.
This illusion wasn't based on his mindscape, that was something he'd been able to tell almost immediately.
Opening one of the classroom doors, he found himself in another location – a graveyard.
A mental prison that paired her emotions with places of significance.
If that was the case, which place meant a lot to Allison and was of emotional importance to her?
Since he wasn't in the best of moods, he did as his current emotions dictated. Two extremely long blood tails extended from behind him and solidified in the shape of blood red ominous scythes, which he brought down without care on Kate's and Gerard's grave.
The moment he destroyed the gravestones the location changed to a warehouse where Tristan could remember was the same one Allison found out about him and Malia, and also where he killed the Kanima and a bunch of Hunters.
Once again the illusion changed to that of her house, and changed almost immediately as Tristan immediately destroyed it the moment he realized where he was.
His slowly peaking anger stalled after going through a few more places of importance to Allison before changing to one he was very familiar with, and one he didn't really expect her to be at.
His house.
