GOLDEN PHOENIX HOTEL

"Let me sleep for a 2 hours.." Pagod na boses ni Jenny habang inuunat ang likod sa upuan ng sasakyan. Yung isang body guard na ang nag-da-drive ng sasakyan.

"Alright, gigisingin kita kapag nasa Cavite na tayo." Ani David.

Pipikit na sana sya ng may maalala kaya napaupo sya ulit.

"What's wrong?" Si David.

"I forgot to book a room." Aniya habang kinukuha ang cellphone sa kanyang bag.

"A room? " tanong ni David kay Jenny. "You can come to my house tho." Ani pa nito.

"No, thanks. I'm a student." Sabi nya na may halong pang-aasar ang tono.

"Silly girl," bahagya nitong pinitik ang kanyang noo. "What I mean is, you sleep there para hindi kana gumastos pa."

"I know, but I don't like it." Aniya habang nagta-type na sa phone.

"This Golden Phoenix Hotel looks great." Aniya Maya Maya pa. "It's near SM MALL OF ASIA. Hindi na ako mahihirapan. What happened to the thing I asked you last night?" Tanong kay David tungkol sa kanyang Driver's license.

"Hindi pa tumatawag ang kaibigan ko. Pero sabi nya it'll be ready today." Sagot naman ng lalake.

"Great." Aniya. Patuloy sya sa pagtatype. "Done booking. Am going to sleep." Sumandal na sya ulit sa upuan.

Hinayaan narin sya ni David matulog. Nakipag usap lang ito sa mga tauhan. Jenny is actually not sleeping, she's with Phoenix right now.

"Wow, hindi ko akalain na bibisitahin mo ako ngayon. Wala akong maitutulong sayo, so pwede kana umalis." Bati sa kanya ng Phoenix saka muling bumalik sa pinaglilimliman nito.

"What a snob!" Ganting pang-aasar nya dito. "How's your condition?

" I'm good. I'm eating well." Sagot nito.

"Eating? What do you eat?" Kunot noong tanong nya.

"I'm eating the hatred in your heart, it's quite huge that I can't even finish it." Nakatitig ito sa kanya habang nagsasalita.

"Yeah... Water type spirit beasts eats sorrows.. Wind type spirit beasts eats desires." Paliwanag nito.

"After you consume those emotions, what will happen to the master's body.?" Interesadong tanong nya.

"What?! " kung pwede lang makamatay ang titig injured na siguro ang Phoenix sa titig ni Jenny.

"I meant what I said." Walang pake na sagot nito.

"Hmp!" She pouted her lips while sneakily hinding 2 pcs of gems. "I'm leaving. Eat well." Naka snob na paalam nya dito. Saka tuluyan na ngang lumabas.

"What a brat.!" Napapangiting bulong ng Phoenix. "Well, 2 pieces is nothing for me." Aniya pa. Saka muling pumikit.

Napamulat ng mata si Jenny.. Pinakiramdaman ang sariling palad. Saka nya napangiti.

"You're awake." Boses ni David.

"5 minutes pa bago marating ang hotel na tutuluyan mo."

"Oh.. Okay." Sagot nya.

"I'll be busy this next few days at the hospital so I can't come to you." Pahayag ni David maya-maya. "I promised your mom to make you safe so sana magpakabait ka." Sabi pa nito. "You're people behind us should take good care of you and secure your safety." Dugtong pa ulit ni David..

"Stop.. Enough.. I know it all already." Awat nya sa mga sasabihin pa nito. "Don't worry I'm okay... And hindi kana na dapat mag-alala."

"Jen-jen...."

"Whoaaa..." Namilog ang mata nya dito. "You called me by my pet name." Pangbubuska nya dito.

"We're here." Pag iwas nito sa atake nya.

"Hehe... Okay okay." Pinagbuksan sya nito ng pintuan. At inalalayan makababa.

"Be careful okay.?" I have to leave now.. Can't accompany you inside." Ani pa nito.

"Got it older brother.." Tumalikod na sya at naglakad papasok.. Hinintay nya sa may lobby ng hotel ang mga tauhan nya.

Dalawang kwarto ang kinuha nya. Isa sa kanya, at isa sa tatlong kasama. Isang gabi lang naman sila doon.

"Two presidential suite for Miss Jenny Sanchez." It's a hotel staff at the front desk. Nakangiti ito sa kanya pero palihim syang tinitingnan ng may mga tanong ang mga mata.

"Yes" malamig nyang sagot.

Napa yuko naman ang nasabing staff.

"Here's your key cards ma'am. Please let our other staffs to assist you." Magalang na nasagot nito.

"En" muling tugon nya dito saka tumalikod.

Hinarap nya si Tommy at inabot dito ang key card ng room ng mga ito. Pagkatapos ay nagpatuloy na sya sa paglalakad kasunod ang tatlo. Nakaalalay naman ang apat na staffs ng hotel.

Una nyang pinasok ang kwarto nila Tommy. Pinasadahan nya ito ng tingin. Nang mapatigil si Jenny sandali. Malamig pa sa Antarctica ang tingin na ibinato nya sa staffs. Na bigla ring natigilan.

"Call your manager here." Malamig nyang sabi.

"Sorry?" Anang isa na naguguluhan."ah.. Yes maam." Mabilis itong lumapit sa telepono sa loob ng kwarto at nag dial. Maya -Maya pa narinig nya na ang mga yabag ng sapatos palapit sa pwesto nila.

"Hello Sir, I'm Sanny Lim.. Manger of this hotel." Pagbibigay galang nito habang nakaharap kay Tommy.

"Er... Boss..?" Tawag naman sa kanya ni Tommy.

Parang itinulos sa kinatatayuan ang mga staffs kasama ng Manager.. Mabilis itong nag bow ng dalawang beses bilang paghingi ng paumanhin.

"I'm sorry Ma'am..." Anito na daig pang pinagpapawisan ng malamig.

"Enough with the apology." Aniyang may malamig na tono.

"Yes... May maitutulong po ba ako sa inyo?" Tanong nito.

Lumakad si Jenny papasok at huminto sa harap ng malaking TV na nasa may conference room. Saka sya lumingon sa manager. She pointed her finger in one direction.

"Your hotel requires to put hidden camera inside the room for what?" Her aura becomes more cold.. You can easily tell that she's angry and ready to explode anytime soon.

Namutla naman ang manager ng hotel.. Wala syang alam sa sitwasyon.. Their hotel vice-president came here yesterday together with 5 people.

"This.. We apologize Ma'am. Please let me call the President right away. He's here at the hotel right now." Mabilis na wika nito na kita ang panginginig ng mga kamay. "Fuck...! Fuck! ' bulong ng manager. Ano nanaman ang ginawa ng anak ng chairman.?

Anak ng Chairman ng Golden Phoenix Hotel ang Vice President ng hotel. Yes.. At ang President ay ang pamangkin nito. Maaring dahil dun kaya sinusubukan ng VP na sirain ang pamumuno ng P.

Dalawang minuto lang din silang naghintay. May ma-ilan-ilan ng nakikiusyuso na guests. Pumasok ang isang matangkad na lalake.. Mukhang half Chinese.. He has a good aura.. Kitang-kita ang pagiging manly. How old is he? Sa palagay ni Jenny he's almost 30. Nilingon nito ang manager na kasalukuyang ninerbyos. The guy's looks cold.. Similar to someone she met. Ipinilig nya ang ulo. Nilingon na sya ng lalake ng marahil ay narinig na lahat ng paliwanag ng kausap..

" Miss Jenny Sanchez?" Lapit nito sa kanya with business look expression.

"Close the door first." Aniya using cold voice parin.

"What?" Naguhuluhang tanong sa kanya ng lalake. Sa ganung sitwasyon he's ready to listen to the foul words of the these costumer but what is she saying? Close the door? He's expression change a bit.

"You don't want other guests to gossip about this serious issue.. Are you?" Diriktang titig ni Jenny sa mata ng kausap.

"Right..." Pag sang ayon ng lalake.. He's postures broke a little. 'This little girl in front of him.. He can't read. How old is she? 17? 18?. Bulong ng utak nya. Nilingon nya ang kanyang staff to close the door. If this people do something wrong he's staff can easily calls for help.

"Don't be alarmed.. I'm not that kind of a girl." Dinig nyang saad ng dalagita. Nakita nya itong tumayo sa kina-uupuang sofa saka lumakad palapit sa Tv.

How does she know what he's thinking? Lalong naging alerto ang binata.

"May I hear your complaints?" He still stands and speak with professionalism in hes voice.

"En." Sagot ni Jenny .. "I wanted to know, why is there a hidden camera in my room?" She's tapping the certain area of the television. Nilingon nya ang lalake. "Your people said the vice president came here yesterday. So I suspected you don't know anything about this.. But are you really not?" Tanong pa ulit ni Jenny.

"I'm sorry.. Even I don't know about this but it's still my responsibility to know anything that happens in this hotel. So I admit my mistake. I'll talk to my vice president later tonight but lemme asked my people to remove the hidden camera first.. And, how do I help you with anything miss?" He said.

Napabuga ng hangin si Jenny saka napasulyap sa relo sa kanyang braso.

"Remove this thing first and let's check my other room." Aniya saka lumakad palabas ng pinto.

"Yes.." Sagot nito bahagya pang yumuko. "Call the person in charge of detecting hidden cameras." Utos nito sa isang staff..

"There's no need . That's the only one hidden camera installed inside this room." Aniya, "perhaps your enemy wants you to be suspected as a spy against big people who soon will occupy this room." Lingon nya dito. "And if he succeeded, not just your position but also your life will be gone." Seryosong dugtong nya pa na nagpatuwid sa tayo ng lalake at sa iba pang mga tao doon.

'Ahhh their boss is really cool.' Hiyaw naman ng utak ng tatlong kasama ni Jenny.

"I do what you said.. " the guy get what she really meant.

Sumunod ito sa kanya sa kabilang kwarto. At tulad nga ng nasa kabila.. There's also a hidden camera with the same location inside her room. Pinatanggal nya rin yun. Alam nyang gustong mag tanong lalake kung paano nya nalaman yun pero hindi na nito nagawa. Inisip na lang nito na gumagamit sya ng specialized contact lenses that can detect hidden cameras. Well her eyes is greater than those lenses tho.

"Miss Jenny if you allow me. Please let me repay you for your kindness tonight." Magalang na alok ng lalake sa kanya.

"What is your name?" Aniya..

"Kiel Tan.." Lahad ng palad nito sa harap nya.

" Jenny. " sagot naman ng dalaga. I don't need anything so far except me and my people are hungry.."

"I'll ask the chiefs to prepare your dinner under my name tonight." Mabilis nitong sabi.

"And.. I want a formal dress... Send me someone who can find me a dress." Aniya pa.

"Yes.. And please.." Anito habang dumudukot sa bulsa sa may chest nito. "Call me in this number if you need anything." Everything you need in this hotel.. I'll pay for it."

"Got it." Aniya saka inabot ang calling card na binibigay nito.

"Then.. Please excuse me.. I will let you rest.. Please wait for my staffs to send you your dinner." Muling paalam nito.

Nang tumango si Jenny bilang pag sang ayon tumalikod narin ito. Nakita nya ang biglang pag buo ng galit sa mata nito. Maaring para sa VP.

"How will he manage the situation if the person occupy this room is a big.?" Well that's just a question for Jenny but.. Who is she to interfere.

She needs to prepare to rob a casino again anyway.
