Chapter 24

Filled with a combination of nervousness and determination, Itzy finally gathered the courage to knock on Jace's door. However, as she raised her hand to knock, Jace unexpectedly opened the door, leaving her hand suspended in mid-air and her mouth slightly agape.

"Is everything alright?" Jace asked, noticing the uncertain look on her face.

Itzy took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. She averted her eyes and said, "I... I wanted to talk to you and apologize. I'm sorry for mistaking you for someone else. I must have seemed really foolish."

"Is that the proper way to apologize?" Jace sighed and added, "It's fine. You don't have to apologize, and I didn't think you were like that."

Itzy pouted and turned to Jace. "I'm just shy, okay? Anyway, I'm sorry again. My dad called you to his study just because of me."

"It's fine. I don't have a problem with that," Jace replied.
