Reclaim What is Yours!

He should put the life of the people of his tribe in the Yan Empire. Once he surrendered, it is like a fish in the chopping block

They would kill children and put their heads on the pike and have no mercy because to them the tribespeople is less than human.

Maybe it will not happen during Aeryon lifetime if he follows the original plan that the original Aeryon had made but it surely would happen someday.

James would not like that to happen.

And he also has a larger vision and ambition than the original Aeryon

'Andawan!' Aeryon was shocked

'Ah, forgive me brother. I was thinking of something'

Belarion nodded. He knows his sworn brother since becoming the tribe leader has become more solemn and taciturn

There was silence for a few second before he then asks

'Brother. If we are not going to the Northern Lands of Yan…, where do we go?'

'Back' he said with a smile on his face

There is confidence in his tone and unswerving determination

'We are going back'

...

His wavy hair sways left and right as the wind caress his cheek

Aeryon is now on top of his horse riding back toward the Great Steppe.

He looks at himself and he could not help but getting impressed at himself

Because he is riding the horse.

Even though he never rides a horse before but he has all the muscle memory of Aeryon so as he rides the horse, it felt like he had been riding horses all of his life.

Behind him is Belarion and behind Belarion is his tribe.

Aeryon look behind him and he could only sigh.

This journey would take around five to six days. Fortunately, he has the supply so he is confident to make sure that the people of his tribe will not be starved.

Aeryon rides the horse slowly as he waited for his people to follow from behind.

His tribe warriors all ride horses but for the other tribe's member they all walk with their feet.

Aeryon would like to give them shoes but he does not know how to weave and he did not have any item.

'This is the best I can do for now. When I win…'

Aeryon only sigh and keep looking forward. There are a few quests he could choose and he choose one in particular

He opens his quest window again to check the quest

[Fighting For Your Tribe]

Your tribe had to run from the tribes of Xewa and Ghar tribe.

Lead the tribe back to the Great Steppe and take what is yours. The life in the Great Steppe is harsh and unforgiving and only the strong could survive.

Strengthen yourself and survive!

Reward : A Random Resource Card

: Five Class Ability Card [Bonus will be given according to the result]

Victory Condition

: Destroy one of the tribes or subjugate them and regain back your tribe area

Failure Condition

: Your tribe is destroyed by the enemy

….

That is the quest he had taken.

To regain back his tribe area.

And he must either choose to destroy of subjugate the two tribes.

And if he won, just look at the rewards he would get.

The Random Resource Card is tempting enough

But it was the Five Class Ability Card that tempts him the most.

He did check a few other quests in his quest list

Most of them would only give him one ability card or some even just give some random rewards.

Aeryon could also see how the system give the reward.

The harder the quest, the larger the reward.

Aeryon of course thinks carefully before he chose to take this mission.

Even though the mission seems impossible, especially when he looks at his current tribe, if you think about it, there is a way to win this.

When he looks at his tribe, he only has around two hundred people. Out of that two hundred around a hundred of those are old people, woman and children.

Unfit to fight

As for the other hundred, there is the sick and the disabled and also teenagers.

The sick and the disabled could not take up arms but the teenagers can because in this world, in this current era, there is no such concept as teenagers.

As for the people that could fight, there is barely fifty people. And out of those fifty people, half of them are old veterans that follow his father.

They could fight but they are old.

Half of that fifty people is young and in top shape and could fight but twenty-five people could hardly be a challenge for a small tribe especially tribes like Xewa and Ghar who is thinking of expanding their tribes

The fact that they are thinking of expanding their tribes means they have more people to feed and need more lands and need more slaves

The Xewa and the Ghar tribe might be a small tribe like them but they have around five hundred people give or take.

Aeryon when he tries to scour his memory on anything about the enemy, there is not much that he knows.

The tribe might have scout but there is no complete intelligence agency.

One could only guess from hearsay, rumors or try to take an educated guess based on their consumption.

'It is a pity that the original Aeryon did not have detailed information about them'

Though James does not blame the original Aeryon.

Because he also knows why the original Aeryon does not know these things. His father is killed by the Xewa tribe.

And he took the mantle of leadership in an abrupt way and the tribesmen quickly ask him for orders.

At that time, the plan in his mind was to bide his time in Yan Empire and then return again one day.

So, since his plan from the beginning is to retreat, he never cares much about how many people in the Xewa tribe and the Ghar tribe.

Who would have thought that Aeryon would die of sickness on his way to the Yan Empire?

and that James takes over his body, mind and probably even his soul.

So, James also feels like he is Aeryon, having two memories of two lives and it is in harmony with each other.

With all of these factors, it might even seem that it is impossible for Aeryon tribe to reclaim back that area.

But, Aeryon find a way

He finds a way to win

And he smiles when he thinks of it.

He believes this is the way out the system gave him

If he could not see this opportunity, he could not blame anyone else. He could only blame himself.

And what is his way out? It is none other than his Three-Day Invincibility Card. The system purposefully said that it is a one-time gift.

Meaning, such card will not appear again. When you are given something like this, you would have the idea to keep it until the most critical moment

Like your life in danger of being entrapped by enemies or something like that. It is akin of having a second life.

Three days of invincibility basically for three days, there is no one that could kill you.

So, it is logical to store it and waited until such moment when you would have no choice to use it.

But there is another way of using it.

And that is to build a foundation for the future

'And that is what I am going to use it for. A sturdy foundation, a base of power where I could expand'

Aeryon hesitated a moment before he decided to use this plan. What he chose is to create a stable foundation instead of storing this card for later use

Is it the right choice? Even Aeryon doesn't know because he doesn't know the future of the original Aeryon.

Maybe someday he would be trapped in a life and death situation and regret his choice today. Or maybe, this is the beginning of something great.

He chose now instead the unknown future.

He looks forward to today. Once he saw a documentary of sorts about the rise and fall of a certain company

What he learned from that documentary was that even if you knew what the future would be ten years later, if you could not see what will happen tomorrow, it will have no use.

Aeryon shook his head and keep riding.

Not before long they arrived at a forest and coming out of the forest, they see the boundless land.

In the distance, the sun is about to go down.

The order to set up tent was given and the people of the tribe quickly set it up like they have done this a thousand times before set up tent

Aeryon ordered his guards and his tribe warrior to hunt around the forest. Aeryon also goes hunting

Even though he possesses some of Aeryon muscle memory, hunting is still not easy for him. And even though he could draw a bow and pull the bow he still could not expertly shoot

'I guess muscle memory could not help everything' he thought to himself.
