The next day, Lucas went to the class as usual. It would begin at eight. The time right now was half-past seven in the morning.

After his victory, his surroundings changed quite rapidly.

Lucas' fellow classmates treated him better after his winning in the Dewsbury Bake-off. They were still impressed to know how Lucas and Ethan from another class managed to reach the final and win second place.

"Yo! Brother Luke!" Jayden waved a hand at the approaching Lucas, "How's the party yesterday? Did you get a gift?"

Brian and Violet also were looking at him. All of them knew that he went out for a celebration with his boss and other future colleagues.

Smiling, Lucas showed his left wrist. His expression was a mixture of joy and pride for himself.

"Wow! That's a good watch ah!" exclaimed Brian excitedly, "How nice, Brother Luke. You must be so happy now."

Lucas only smiled.
