Walter smirked. “BOE.” He muttered. "They are not allowed to have my son!"
"Your son?" she inquired, and he raised his brow.
"They were after my son!" I've got a son! That can't happen to him!"
"What will happen?" He frowned. "I'm not sure. I can't recall anything. "I have to find my son!"
***************************
Gajere moved with the stealth of a slow moving air, taking care that his short steps were jaunty, until he came to a halt in front of the door. He knocked on the door without hesitation, then moved aside to make room for his two henchmen.
The boss was tense and agitated. There was no longer any need for hanky-panky. They had to confirm the mark by force, and nepotism would come into play if there was any threat of retaliation.
He nodded to one of the henchmen, who turned to face a CCTV camera and fired something dark and opaque to cover his face.
The other man then silently opened the door with a master key. They entered Justin's room quietly.
"What happened to this boy, why is he not here?" Gajere asked as he noticed no one in the room. It was 1:00 a.m., and he was sure that Justin had not gone out again since seeing Petra off.
"Look in the toilet." Gajere gave the order. One of the men went into the restroom, but it was empty.
“Nobody.” He stated. Gajere frowned. He looked around before focusing on the wardrobe door.
"Open the closet." He gave the order. One of the men went over to the door and yanked on it. It was shut. He easily opened it with a master key. What he saw was a meticulously piled set of computers with large books stashed.
The books could not fit in the wardrobe, so some were arranged near the bed. Gajere smirked. What was he doing with fifteen laptops and such large books?
"What could this boy be?" He was perplexed. "Get those laptops out there." This room will be ransacked." The man extended his hand towards the laptops, but with a reflex action, he quickly withdrew it.
"TJ, what are you doing?" he asked
"Something inside shocked me." TJ stated.
"Get out of there you moron." "I believe you're high." Gajere took quick steps, shoved TJ out of the way with his short, strong arms, and tried yanking a laptop out.
“Wayoooo!” He screamed as a painful wave hit him like an electric shock, propelling him into the air and he landed on his head first.
He couldn't yell. His eyes popped out, his mouth dried up, and he felt his body become extremely hot on the inside. He was panting and gasping for air.
His men rushed to get him water, gave him a drink, poured some on his head before he lay down. He closed his eyes, and felt his breathing return to normal.
He had to lie down for about fifteen minutes before he could sit up. He said nothing and simply stood up on his feet. He walked around with his phone in his pocket.
He began to walk out of the room without saying anything. His henchmen exchanged glances, fighting the urge to burst out laughing.
They exited, shutting the door behind them.
Tj turned to face Gajere. "Sorry, Sannu fa!" "Ubanka!" he exclaimed. Gajere became enraged.
They immediately left the hotel premises togehter. Justin, who was hidden in the ceiling, laughed as he watched everything on his PDA. They didn't seem to know who he was.
He wired every where he stayed because he knew what was at stake. Then he began to wonder who they were. He photographed them. Were they among Kacha's men?
Then he thought of Kacha. He guessed it was time to begin the game! He descended from the ceiling and carefully directed some radiations towards the door. If anyone opened it without his permission and tried to enter..........phew! The phone then rang while he was still thinking about this.
“Justin.” Someone on the other end said. “Kacha.” "I just got some news." He stated. "Doctor Abbas believes you are still alive.
They want to know if you have a mark on you. "Do you have a mark?" he inquired.
"I'm not sure what you're talking about." Justin responded.
"Do not play dumb with me. They are looking for you." he said
Gajere, his short right-hand man, is in charge. "I believe we are out of time."
"I've made my decision." Justin stated. "I am in."
“Good! Very well done!" Kacha was extremely happy. Justin hung up the phone. He remembered Petra. Only if she wasn't in the picture.
In the past, he had never been afraid of anything. He was now certain that his life did not belong solely to him. He was about to enter a dangerous game. A perilous world!

PETRA POV
Petra awoke with a start, finding herself breathing heavily, her heartbeat drumming, and her head aching.
She yawned, unsure what had woken her up. She sat up, letting her fluffy blanket fall off her body, then reached for the bedside switch and turned on the light.
It was twenty-three minutes after two o'clock in the morning, according to the wall clock. She rubbed her hands across her face, stretched, and sat down on the floor. She was unsettled, and she couldn't recall having any nightmares.
She slipped her legs into her flip-flops and went into the restroom to relieve herself before returning. Her thoughts were drawn to Justin. He was, however, always present. Their relationship had grown so hot that her mother was rooting and supporting her.
He was now attempting to gain admission to either the University of Abuja or Nasarawa State University to study computer science.
She was about to go to bed when she felt compelled to check her phone. She felt like calling him; she wanted to hear his voice and some of his jokes to put her at ease.
What if he's sleeping? She didn't want to disturb him. She cringed as she picked up the phone. and immdiately she was surprise that she e had sixteen missed calls. And the most recent phone call was twenty minutes ago.
What had gone wrong? She dialed his number, which rang repeatedly but he did not answer. She dialed again before Justin answered.
"I've been trying to reach you." He said, and she noticed he was whispering.
"I was sleeping and had the phone set to silent." She stated.
"I was just thinking about calling you. What's the matter, you sound so low?"
"I need you to get that PDA; you have to find me and feed me with information."
Her stomach sank. "What exactly is going on?" "Where have you gone?"
"I am currently in Lokoja." "I arrived this afternoon."
"But you never told me!" "Are you in any danger?" Petra inquired.
"I can't explain it right now..." Bang! She heard a gunshot and Justin was cut off, as if he was fleeing.
"Justin! Justin! Justin!" He was panting now.
"They're attempting to kill me!" He said still panting for breath
"Oh my goodness! Who….” She paused, ran down, and grabbed the PDA. Her hands began to shake, and her entire body began to tremble. She needed to be calmed down.
She needed to calm down, but it was difficult for her. Justin was being pursued with a gun. She put on the PDA. There was no time for a barrage of questions.
"I'm in," she said, her voice trembling.
"I'm looking for your location." She stated.
“Okay.” He mentioned. "After that, go to the satellite tracking system and connect to my system." I'm talking on my phone.
Take a three hundred metre perimeter range and label it 'bio'; all humans within that range would be visible to you. I'll be communicating with you to find out where they are."
"Who exactly are they?" She couldn't hold back her tears any longer.
"They discovered that I am still alive." He stated. "They know I'm with you, and I don't want you to get into trouble." I will not go into specifics. If I do……"
"There's someone following you....!" She said it all at once, and then there was a gunshot. Justin lurched forward, docked, and rolled down before rising and breaking into a run.
"Allahu Akbar!" "Yes, Rahman!" She zoomed in and saw blurry satellite images of people in motion.
"The only way to keep you safe is to keep quiet." He said this as he appeared to have found a hiding spot.
"They might try to get something from you.....if I don't make it back alive, destroy that PDA right away." That is If, I don't make it....
"Please don't say anything like that. You vowed to me you wouldn't leave me. "Can't we call the cops?"
"At this point, there is nothing they can do." He stated.
“My love...."
"You sound as if you've given up!" She was sobbing.
"I'm just being honest." He stated. "They tracked me down in Abuja. They are determined to kill me. "Please, if I don't make it, I have no one to pray for my soul but you."
"Stop this now! Stop it... You will not die now... This was your promise to me . What would happen to me? What do they desire from you? Please give it to them!"
"What they desire is my life. "I am a threat to something bigger and deeper."
"There is someone approaching you. "I see a river not far from you." she remarked After looking at the PDA.
“Yeah…
I'm near Rokongoma New Extension." He muttered. "It's near the river."
"Please allow me to contact Father." She stated. "Let him seek assistance from the police." What is most important is your life."
"Just stick with me...
"How close does he get?" She pressed the program button and read fifty feet.
"50 feet." "I believe he is hiding behind a car." Justin was lying under a car when he noticed the person's legs. He was not armed. They were armed with all kinds of guns. This was not a good sign.
Gajere muttered an expletive. "Take this phone!" Before the line connected, he said to himself.
"What are you doing?" he exclaimed. "You're supposed to be on standby."
"Have you forgotten we're in Lokoja?" TJ spoke up on the other end.
“Lokoja? "For what?" "I assumed you were aware. We're going to take Justin out. We're currently on him. Just a few minutes longer. "We have him cornered."
"What are you on about?" Gajere inquired.
"I was called to join a seven-man hit squad, and we were led to Lokoja." TJ stated.
Gajere grimaced and tightened his grip on the phone. "Oh my goodness! "Stop the operation right now!"
“What?’ "I told you to call it off!" We need him to be alive." Gajere screamed.
"I'm sorry, but I can't." I don't know who the other men are, and the leader is a ruthless killer." Gajere smirked.
TJ referring to someone as a ruthless killer? Then the individual must be extremely bad. Gajere abruptly ended the call and dialed another number.
"Good morning, sir......
I apologize for calling at this time."
"I'm sure there's a reason. "What exactly is it?"
"I am afraid; he had dispatched a killer squad to assassinate Justin." They're on him now in Lokoja."
“What?” Dr. Abbas yelled.
"Tj is present, and he is unfamiliar with the other men. I asked him to cancel, but he said no one would listen to him. You must speak with him, sir.
We need him alive, and if that's not possible, we need his body. " The silence indicated that Dr. Abbas was nervous and angry.
"I will find him." He hung up and dialed another number, which was not going through. He dialed another number, but it was disconnected. He purposefully did it. The moron. he said.
He was experimenting with something he knew nothing about. He was going to make a shambles of it.
He called Gajere once more. "All of his lines are turned off." He stated.
"I believe I know where we can locate him." Gajere stated. "And I hope Justin isn't dead by the time we arrive."
****************************
ADDY POV
Addy sat at a table, a bottle of wine in front of him, a Cuban cigar between his teeth, staring vainly at Lori as she lay on the big bed.
He was holding a phone with a number that Dr Abbas did not know. He needed to handle this like a man, and he felt they weren't.
Gajere arrived the other day, claiming that the man suspected of being Justin had some strange things connected to his hotel room.
The man then fled the hotel and went into hiding. When Addy found out he was going out with Petra, he had someone set up to follow her. They tracked him down, and he forced them to photograph him without his knowledge.
They zoomed in on the pictures, which were numerous, and discovered the mark. That was a disaster. That day, Addy couldn't sleep. What irritated him was how slowly they were dealing with it, he got really angry.
Then an information came in that Justin was still needed alive. What kind of nonsense was that? What if they discovered the truth? What would happen to him? He returned his gaze to Lori's body.
She was sleeping on her stomach. No! That was not going to happen. So he assembled his assassin squad and followed Justin to Lokoja. And he was certain he would die tonight, and that part of him would be erased.
He gave an evil grin. Then there was a knock on the door. "Who in the world is that?" He yipped. "It's almost 3 a.m., fool!" "Please open this door!" He smirked.
Doctor Abbas! He stood up, exited, and shut the bedroom door. He must not look at Lori. What made him think he was here? What exactly was he doing here? Has he discovered the truth? But he warned TJ not to say anything.
When he opened the door, he saw Dr. Abbas and Gajere standing there. Gajere! This short jerk!
"Call it off right now!" Dr. Abbas yelled.
"But, dad, you understand what's at stake." Addy stated.
"What you don't realize is that if he dies, there will be retaliation." Dr. Abbas said as he pushed his way inside.
"I told you that you have no idea what's going on. You're living his life, and there's something I didn't tell you. We need him to keep the secret alive and to make you real. If he dies, you will surely fall...we will fall."
“What?” Addy exclaimed.
"We have ideas and plans. That is the only way you can keep your position as CO. Addy, you don't have what it takes to cover the tracks. "Call it off now!"
Addy quickly took out his phone and dialed a number. "Just bring him back to alive!"
"No, we can't." Someone responded. "He is powerful and dangerous. "As slick as ice."
"Go get him!" Addy yelled...
Dr. Abbas raised his head. "I told you to call it off. You are not to deal with it for us. We know how to get him at our own pace."
This irritated Addy, he was not happy hearing this. "you guys should let him go......," he said while he was still on the phone.
"There is an issue now......." The thug stated.
