Xiao Ling regained some momentum, he activated the acquired skills and stood on guard, he listened on carefully differenciating each sounds. Yanzhi smirked satisfied seeing that Xiao Ling was catching on to what he was trying to teach him, in a blink of an eye he disappeared from where he stood moments ago and appeared at the side of Xiao Ling as he striked. 

Clang! 

Their weapons clashed together as Xiao Ling reacted to Yanzhi's attack and defended, although his reaction wasn't perfect and in time he was still able to defend perfectly. This made him regained his confidence thinking he can do it if he tried, they both jumped back creating a distance in between. "That's it, you're starting to get it. You already have the abilities and you've been thought them, learn how to use them well in your battles" Yanzhi praised. "En!" he answered in his nasal and nodded.
