Khai blinked his eyes, savoring the sensation of Ana's lithe body pressed against his. Her slender arms and legs entwined around him like sinuous vines, pulling him into her embrace. It was time for her to wake up for their training, but she looked so serene in her deep slumber that he couldn't bring himself to disturb her.

Recalling their argument from the previous night, Khai let out a deep sigh. When he saw the message from her on his phone, telling him to sleep in his own dorm room, he felt as though she had left him to freeze alone in the snow. He planned to drink himself into oblivion, but the sight of her petite form at his door had filled him with a mix of embarrassment, elation, and concern.
