"I don't agree to cooperate," Lou said smugly, as he smirked at Cane, who finally met his eyes. "I don't think the deal will benefit me."
There he was, trying to provoke Cane again with his antics.
"Sir Lou, I don't get it. Which part do you think won't benefit you?" Alpha Dristan asked politely, but Cane could sense he was going to lose his patience with this merchant.
It had nothing to do with the deal, it was just Lou being difficult on purpose.
"Alpha Dristan, can you leave us alone for a while?"
"I have explained to him in a simple way," Alpha Dristan retorted, thinking Cane assumed his method of explanation was not good enough to make the merchant understand what they were trying to offer to him.
