The three women make their way down the staircase, Adele behind the other two, and as they reach the bottom, she sees a man dressed in Arab garb, standing with his back to them, gazing out the huge picture window that looks out over the pool area, his hands clasped behind his back.

Yvonne makes the motion to Adele not to say anything, and as one, they all move across the expensive carpeting towards the man. Then, as if by an unspoken command, both Yvonne and Gillian peel away from Adele, leaving her standing alone, staring at the broad shoulders of the man in front of her.

The man turns around slowly, and remembering the warning from the other two women, Adele drops her gaze and looks at his sandaled feet, not surprised to discover them nicely manicured. She has to fight to suppress a smile that his feet look far nicer than hers, wondering what color nail varnish he would choose if he were to paint them.
