I'm back! And it's only been a month, what a surprise. New record apparently for someone like me who gets inactive quite often as you may already realized that.
As I'm neither Akikan or Cornbringer that could seemingly write on daily basis, probably a habit for them, but not for me.
Either way, before I will get inactive again I will reach another milestone. Hopefully.
Without further ado, let's begin.
----
To be honest, I have no idea which room is my new school section, because the announcement didn't include which room that we're assigned.
However, it did say that we gather at this school gym for further information, still though I'm kind of lost, as I'm unfamiliar with this school, not to mention it's a bit bigger than the previous school I've been into.
Anyway, I need a map or someone to guide me toward the school gym, it shouldn't be hard.
I looked around and saw a student of this school, based on their uniform, without hesitation I approach the student and greeted the student with a smile. "Excuse me miss, do you mind if I ask a few question?"
The girl looked surprised at my sudden appearance and then started looking around and eventually pointing at herself. "U-um..are you talking to me?"
"Of course!" I replied with the same smile.
"S-sorry I don't speak english!" The girl waved her hands in a panicky way.
I blinked my eyes a couple times before saying. "But I'm speaking japanese though…I don't think my nihon is bad.."
She realized her mistake and almost immediately turned red and quickly replied. "Sorry! I thought you didn't know japanese, since you're a foreigner and I assumed that it was the case…"
Well, she's not really wrong since most foreigner who goes to Japan hardly knows how to speak Japanese.
However, this wasn't really my first time experiencing something like this, but it's been a while, that's why I'm a bit surprised.
"No, it's alright, this already happened multiple times to me already, and surely you won't be the last." I said to her, totally cool about it.
After she replied. "Thank goodness."
Hands in her chest, as she sigh in relief knowing that I wasn't offended, either way what an amusing reaction.
"So.uhm..i figured you had a question to me right?" The student said.
I nodded at her and answered. "That's right, mind telling me about where the school gym is? Since your a student here considering you wear this school's uniform."
"Ah yes, the gym is right there." The student pointed at the building behind me, and I looked at it with a deadpan expression.
'I can't believe I missed that!'
Shaking my head, I gave her a grateful smile and replied. "Thank you for the help, if we meet next time I'd like to thank you for it, then later."
Without waiting for her to reply, I left the place and went directly to the gym, because if I wait any longer I would miss the announcement.
Although…for some reason she look familiar, honestly I wouldn't be surprised if she's an anime character from my previous life.
Either way, I hope we'll meet again, so that I could at least thank her for the help.
—
-?-
"Ah!" She was too late to say that he didn't need to thank her for something too simple, he was already far away.
With a resigned sigh. "Oh well, hopefully he'd forget about it, still what a strange person…and I wonder why a foreigner is here?"
Question of the day indeed, suddenly her friend called her from behind."Hibiki! There you are! Mou~ I've been looking for you around the school!"
Hibiki stared at her closest friend with a sigh. "Haruka, why are you even looking for me anyway?"
Despite her reaction, don't get her wrong, she's a cherished friend and a good one, however she has her own unique antics, basically she's weird, but regardless she's a friend.
And that weirdness is one of the reasons why she's very popular in this school, anyway she would like to stop thinking about it.
"Mou~! What's with that reaction! It's like you think I'm going to ask you something weird!"
"I certainly won't deny that…" Hibiki replied with a wry smile.
Totally ignoring her prior words, Haruka said. "Anyway! I need you for something to follow me!"
She wasn't even given a time to answer, she was suddenly dragged by her friend, and Hibiki let herself be dragged without resistance, because she knows it's pointless fighting it, as someone who has been with Haruka.
You can't exactly refuse her, when she puts something in her mind.
Hibiki let herself be dragged along by Haruka and whatever weird idea she had in mind.

When I arrived at the gym, it was filled with people. I can't say I'm surprised as every single student from my previous school from year 1 to 3 was here to wait for the announcement to begin.
So, both familiar and unfamiliar are all gathered here.
Speaking of familiar, where is Hitori?
I walked with her on the way to this school, and I lost her when I stepped inside the school grounds.
Impossible…as someone with a very advanced observation haki that I have, it shouldn't be possible for me to lose sight of her.
Could it be…?!
Bocchi unlocked ranked EX presence concealment?!
It wouldn't be surprising if she did…now that I think about it, I definitely saw her fading away from the background when she saw a crowded place in front of her.
Seriously, even when I held the first magic and a magus, I never could explain the strange phenomenon around my girlfriend.
As a magus, her strangeness is something I want to study and possibly find a logical explanation for, but I won't, because there will be a time that I will unravel her secrets.
Maybe its secrets even transcend the root itself, it would be kind of funny if it did.
In the midst of the ground, I was looking for a comfortable place to stand, and it wasn't long for me to find it, as it is just in the corner, however as I arrived there, someone was already there.
Unlike me, who just wanted to stand in a comfortable spot, this particular person seems like he's trying to hide from the crowd rather than wanting to find a comfortable place like me.
Or maybe both, either way I wasn't the type to judge and on a whim I decided to talk to this person. "Hey there, trying to hide from the crowd eh?"
The guy was stunned as he heard me talking to him, then he looked around to see if there's someone behind him.
Seriously, why do people keep doing that to me? It's like they think I'm talking to another person behind them, rather than themselves.
I'm not intimidating right?
Anyway, unlike the previous girl from before, this guy didn't ask someone so obvious, instead he replied. "Y-yeah.."
Just like that, Immediately becomes interested as he's smart enough not to ask stupid questions. "Mind asking what year are you? Feel free not to answer, just a thought."
See these people, what I did was something psychological, most people think of this question as nothing and would be inclined to answer it as I said 'feel free not to answer' because I made them think of an illusion of choice, whereas in reality I don't.
This trick works 90%, because most people are simple to predict, honestly I'm looking forward to his response.
And to my surprise I heard him mutter. "An illusion of choice huh…"
That's when I realized this person is smart, or at least smart enough to figure that out, with a grin. "That's right, you're quite smart aren't you?"
The guy's eyes widened, probably not expecting me to hear that, then instinctively said. "You heard that?"
His eyes widened more as he realized he blurted out such a question, then his eyes became wary of me. I wasn't why he had to be wary of me, but regardless I answered with an easy going smile. "I have a good hearing, well most of the time."
"Oh." The guy said bewildered, as if he wasn't expecting such a reaction.
Seriously, what's with him being cautious, but regardless he's very interesting and right at that moment I want this guy to be my friend.
As someone who doesn't have a lot of friends, especially guys, for me to voluntarily want a friend is rare.
The 'friends' I had in my previous classroom who got isekai were all acquaintances, nothing more nothing less.
"Since you figured me out, there's no point. I'll introduce myself first, I'm Barthomeloi Alexander, previously a student from 3rd Year Class-B."
His eyes widened in shock and said. "Isn't that class-?!"
I know what he meant and smiled. "That's right, the class that exploded? Yep, if you wondered why I'm still here, I was absent that day."
There's no way people would know that I was present that day, because aside from D, Mitsuha, Hitori and I, there wasn't a single person who survived and definitely the classroom attendance that was burned that day and leaving no trace.
Not to mention, D most likely tempered everyone's memories of those who saw us go to school, seeing there's no one asking us to witness when our classroom got hit by the beam of magic.
"So that's why…" The guy said then, realizing his wording he quickly continued to say. "I mean, no offense!"
I chuckled and replied. "No worries, I don't mind, since I've introduced myself, mind introducing yourself?"
The guy looked at me with a slight hesitation and ultimately decided. "I'm previously a 3rd year student from section 3-A…I didn't really attend for the majority of the school year…um right, I'm Sora, no last name."
After hearing his name I was surprised. 'Sora?! You mean this dude is one of the protagonists of No Game No Life?'
—
A/N: Suprise, suprise another series to add is No Game No Life! Bet y'all didn't see that coming! Either way, Alexander needs a guy friend and Sora is going to be it, since my guy Sora is a pervert and a bit of an asshole, he's perfect for a guy friend.
Not to mention a genius of his own right.
