Gavriel took Anindira deep into the forest, taking her away from the battlefield that was already full of blood.

Apart from Gavriel's ragged breath, only a blank stare was seen from him. Gavriel barely responded to anything from Anindira. Horror again overshadowed Anindira, seeing how scary Gavriel was now, as if he was someone else. The Gavriel in front of her now was not at all like the Gavriel she knew.

Anindira tried to escape but couldn't.

The tight grip of Gavriel's hand bruised Anindira's hand. That was nothing compared to the terror she felt. Anindira shuddered in horror, looking at Gavriel, who showed no emotion. No matter how many times Anindira screamed and struggled. Gavriel remained cold, not responding to the tears that wet Anindira's cheeks.

Exhaustion and severe injuries made Gavriel no longer able to control himself.
