Chapter 13

Vidia walked up to the bathroom door where Shannon and Edmund is and flung open the door.

"Aaahhh!" Vidia screamed as she watched them almost naked,

"There they are!" one of the guests pointed.

Everyone rushed to the bathroom to see.

Amanda put up an act and slapped Shannon hard in the face,

"How dare you!!" Amanda screamed as fake tears streamed down her cheeks.

"Watch it!!" Edmund yelled and tried to attack Amanda,

"You b-" He was cut short of what he was saying as Vidia punched him in the face.

"You scumbag!" She yelled at him and hugged Amanda,

"It's okay, it's okay," Vidia coaxed her.

Mr. and Mrs. Freyer (Edmund's parents) stared at their son with shocked faces.

Shannon and Edmund quickly tried to dress before things could get even worst, which already did.

"That explains why those two seemed so close as they just met"

"Yeah, she is obviously experienced. Look at it."

Some of the guests laughed and took pictures while the others looked at them in disgust.

"Ew, she's disgusting!"

"Better keep away from her."

"The Wiles family would really take that b**h as a family?"

Shannon cried as everyone looked at her.

"What happened here?!" Nicholas Auriga (Amanda's grandfather) bellowed,

Beside him was a very good-looking young man about Amanda's age.

The guests dispersed revealing Shannon with a messy look.

Edmund also had snuck out along with the crowd.

"Isn't he Mr. Chase Wilson?" one of them recognized,

They gasped.

'He's the most richest and powerful man, Chase Wilson?'

Shannon's eyes lit up.

Chase Wilson's cold gaze changed as he saw Amanda crying in Vidia's arms.

After clearing up everyone went back home except for,

Heather and Nash Auriga, Vidia, Chase Wilson, Mr., and Mrs. Freyer, and Edmund.

They all sat in the living room in awkward silence.

"Can somebody explain what just happened?" Nicholas broke the silence,

"Shannon and Edmund lustfully attempted having adultery," Nash explained while staring at the floor.

"You're lying! We never did anything like that!" Shannon instantly argued,

"It's true. If Vidia hadn't opened the door by coincidence you would've done it." Nash argued back.

"As if a kid can understand it! Say a word again and I'll rip your tongue off!" Shannon threatened, pointing a peeler at Nash.

"Shannon put that down! Nash is just a kid!" Amanda interrupted,

"Then I'll start with you!" Shannon lunged at Amanda attempting to stab her mouth.

Amanda dodged her swings and put her in a tight lock.

"Enough Shannon!!" Nicholas stood up,

"Father, calm down," Simeon offered him tea,

"Amanda! Let my daughter go." Sabrina scolded.

"Can't. She'll kill me." Amanda tightened her lock.

It made Shannon let out a sharp scream.

Vidia walked in and patted Amanda's shoulder,

"Mandy,"

Amanda slowly loosened her grip.

After a brief discussion, Nicholas confined Shannon for a week.

They didn't dare argue.

"I agree with grandfather, but. It wouldn't solve their affair." Heather stated.

Nicholas looked at Edmund.

"We know how you feel Amanda. But, it's just normal for a man to have an affair before their marriage." Mrs. Freyer persuaded,

"Maybe you can forgive him? He would promise not to do it again." Mr. Freyer added.

"I promise," Edmund went over and kneeled at Amanda holding her hands,

"I'll never do it again. I'll love you and only you alone. Please forgive me, Amanda."

Vidia glanced at Shannon, who didn't care at all now.

She found someone better than him.

Shannon looked at Chase and stood up.

She picked up a teapot, went over, and poured his tea.

She looked at him and smiled.

"I forgive you," Amanda replied back after thinking,
