Two weeks later…

During the last two weeks, Arthur completed his class advancement. On his journey to the green point, he met many demons, and the closer he was to the green point, the more demons he found. He even killed a B-rank demon!

For the class advancement, Arthur got the following choices.

His strength increased exponentially as he now was strong enough to easily kill a B-rank Demon. His talents boosted his strength by a huge amount.

Arthur was currently in a sea of trees looking at the map, making sure he was at the right location.

"It should be around here…"

Arthur was staring at the map when he suddenly heard a feminine voice from behind. He instantly turned his head, curious if he was hearing things.

"#########!"

She shouted again. But Arthur couldn't care less about it. He was more focused on the 'woman'.

She was aiming a bow at him, but Arthur also ignored that detail. What he was more focused on was the woman's long ears!

"An elf… I am not in a world of demons…"

At this moment, Arthur Arthur seemed to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

"Hi miss, I am Arthur, it is nice to meet you."

"######### ######### ########!" (Nabia)

Arthur didn't understand what she was trying to say, but looking at her threatening face, Arthur seemed to understand that she wasn't happy seeing him. He then raised both of his hands in a surrender gesture and spoke again.

"I surrender, miss, I am not here to harm you, only demons."

She spoke again but at a lower voice.

Arthur then felt the presence of two more elves approaching from behind. He couldn't help but turn again.

"Hy guys, how are you?"

Arthur then saw them making a gesture for him to follow them. Without thinking much, Arthur did so.

As he followed the two elves and was followed by another who was pointing a bow at his back, he looked at his surroundings as the numbers of elves he saw increased more and more.

'So the green point means elves, I see.'(Arthur)

Soon, he was in front of a wooden city full of trees that looked very cool. He then proceeded inside the elves' city till he reached one of the tallest buildings of the city.

Under the instructions of the two elves, he then entered the building.

Inside the building, he saw a middle-aged elf sitting at one side of a table. He then made a gesture for Arthur to sit down, which Arthur followed.

"###################"(Ramos)

The elf then said a bunch of unknown words and gestured to Arthur to drink a potion.

Arthur looked at the green potion right in front of him and was in a dilemma.

'Do I drink or do I not drink?'

Arthur hesitated for a few seconds before choosing to drink.

'Anyway, I have high-level poison resistance. I also don't think that they will try to poison me for no reason.'

Arthur opened the bottle and drank all the content of it.

"Can you understand me now?" (Ramos)

"Yes, sir."(Arthur)

"Good, my name is Ramos, I am the one in command of this base. Can I ask who you are and what you were doing in the surroundings of our base?"

Arthur took a few seconds to prepare his answer.

"I am Arthur. I was in the surroundings of your base because I was exploring. That's what I do."

Ramos heard what Arthur said, and he didn't believe it.

'Exploring in the middle of a battlefield? That was good'

He then continued.

"Where are you from?"(Ramos)

Arthur replied.

"The past is in the past. The future is ahead of us. Where I am from is in the past."(Arthur)

Ramos felt a headache coming.

'Couldn't he just say that he is from the human kingdom? What is wrong with him?'

"As you know, we are at war with the demons. Because of that, we have some procedures we need to follow, one of them being that if someone suspects appears we need to imprision…" (Ramos)

Ramos didn't finish as he was interrupted by Arthur.

"Wait, wait, wait. We have a misunderstanding here. You are not the only one at war with demons, I am also at war with them. Doesn't that mean that we are allies?"

Ramos' eyes, which till now had a tired look, suddenly became sharp.

"Are you an envoy from the Kingdom of Kylenor?"

He didn't expect that this young in a miserable state would have something to do with the reinforcements Kylenor promised.

Arthur was surprised by this off-topic question, but he chose to play along.

"I am indeed an envoy of the Kylenor Kingdom. I am also a specialist in killing demons."

Ramos' eyes showed doubt when he looked at Arthur's outfit, which consisted of a pants full of blood. But when he looked closer, he noticed that it was demon's blood.

'Is he really telling the truth?'

Ramos paused for a moment before asking one more question.

"What is your mission?"(Ramos)

Arthur smiled and said with a prideful tone.

"It is to slaughter demons."(Arthur)

Ramos nodded when he heard that answer.

'He is really a reinforcement sent from the Kylenor kingdom. But I wonder why tey just send him alone, it will not be much helpful… unless he is a rank-A.`

Looking at Arthur with new eyes, Ramos decided to treat him as an equal. He got up from the chair and made a gesture for Arthur to do the same.

"I will show your accommodations, come follow me."(Ramos)

Hearing Ramos' proposal, Arthur was tempted to accept. Since he came to this world, he never had an appropriate stay. But Arthur was hungry for more power. His tremendous growth in a short period of time made him want more and more. Especially the feeling of becoming stronger in real time.

"I am sorry, but I will need to refuse your offer."(Arthur)

Ramos was dumbfounded because Arthur suddenly refused his goodwill.

Then Arthur continued. His face showed a calm look.

"My mission is to slaughter demons, not stay idle. Bring me a map of the positions of the demons bases, and I will make them a visit."
