Although the two children knew that these vampires who took them back to the hill did not share the same intention as those who kidnapped them in the first place, they could not help but shiver at the sight of so many red-eyed vampires around them.
"It's alright, don't be scared," the female rabid vampire who cooked for them tried to coax them. "Look, I made some food for you."
The two children had not eaten anything for hours. Hearing that there was some food to fill their bellies, they could not help but take a peek.
On the table was a huge bowl of steaming soup and two smaller bowls next to it.
The female rabid vampire retreated as soon as she set the bowl of soup on the table.
"Please eat," she told the two children. "I know that you must be hungry."
Persuaded by their growling stomachs, the children inched toward the table.
Once they inhaled a lungful of the soup that the female rabid vampire prepared for them, they were unable to contain themselves anymore.
