CURSED BLADE

"Why did you call me here?' Kristen asked as she walked to the man who was inspecting the inventories.

"Since we have only five days left, I decided to make it a little more easy for you." 

"By what?"

"You can't use your power here to kill me, right?" Lucifer asked as he ran his hands through the top of a few blades which were kept in the holders.

"I guess so." 

"Want to try something to see if it is working or not? If you try at the last moment and fail, I wouldn't be able to help you." He picked out one of the blades and swirled it in the air skillfully.

"What do you mean by that?" She asked moving back a little to avoid the blade which was passing near her eyes.

"Like try using any of your powers that you think might work." He scoffed.

"That can get you killed, Lucifer." 

"So? Isn't that what you were assigned to do?" He asked knowing that would only piss her off.
