A Rumor

The entire public was either dancing on the dancefloor or eating food on the side. Neither of them cared about the event that was going on or the missing crown prince and his partner. They were all busy enjoying themselves.

Suddenly, a lady went over to a couple and started chatting with them. No one knew who this lady was, but she looked well-dressed. She might belong to a wealthy family.

The couple standing on the side smiled and offered a cup of wine.

The lady waved her hand and asked, "You two look so adorable. I have wanted to come over and compliment you for a long time."

The woman standing in front of her smiled and toasted a cup of wine, saying, "How pleasant of you! Thank you!"

Her husband was bored, but for the sake of appearances, he continued standing there, glancing around. If the crown prince were here, he might have taken the opportunity to talk it up, but where exactly was he?
