After leaving Regan's chambers, Evelyn went to her room straight. A part of her mind remembered that Hannah, Miri, and Ami had told her that they would gather in the garden today in the back of the castle.

However, she didn't have the courage or any thought of going anywhere.

At this moment, the only place she found herself to be safe was her room.

She locked the door carefully and checked it again and again as if she didn't trust herself. After that, she walked to her bed and lay down there.

Covering her body properly with the blanket, Evelyn closed her eyes as she tried to find some sleep.

Prince's words suddenly flashed in her mind and Evelyn felt a twinge of pain inside her heart instantly.

What might be he thinking?

Evelyn wondered.
