Chapter 186: All That Jazz

Ellis kept to his word, as he always did, not only allowing but welcoming students into the mansion for piano lessons.

He did this despite the awkwardness of Uncle Tony also being there. However, he did mostly stick to his own wing, as he had promised Ellis.

He told me about the whole thing after they were done meeting with Grandpa Herman. I was a little shocked by the decision, but it wasn’t up to me.

I was held to the agreement that I would do background checks on any potential students, which I did with all the new ones.

It was a different situation with the old students, because we already knew them. It was surprising that both Emma and Nikki jumped at the chance to start lessons again, even after nearly a year.

“Looks like you were right,” Ellis said.

“I was?”

“About the piano lessons. Then again, I never doubted your skill, just the idea of having strangers in the house.”
