Seraphina hurriedly entered her father's study without bothering to knock. Lucian looked up, met with the excitement on his daughter's face. She promptly inquired, "Where's Cass?"
Cass, positioned at Lucian's feet, gracefully walked around the desk. Seraphina beamed and scooped him up. Cass inquired, "How was your day?"
Seraphina replied, "It was great. I'm thrilled to be studying magic again."
Cass smiled, although the memory of her death in the original timeline still tugged at his emotions. Seraphina inquired, "When you said you would teach me, you meant when?"
Cass responded, "How about an hour every day after school?"
Seraphina enthusiastically nodded, asking, "Can we start today?"
Cass grinned. "Sure."
Lucian smiled at them and instructed, "Go to the study room so you won't be bothered." Seraphina nodded and left, accompanied by Cass.
