CALLERS - PART 1

In Rose's attempt to hold out from drinking Christopher's blood, she had concealed her thirst from him, and this was the outcome.  It was as if Rose was emptying his lifeblood at a rapid pace. Concerned that she might actually drain him, The Lord tried to push her away, but her grip tightened, and she drank faster. He recalled Giselle's warning about Rose's strength when she fed; if she had gone too long without eating, she would become dangerous.

In order to stop Rose, Christopher opted for a different tactic. Instead of fighting her, he tried to soothe her frenzy. He wrapped his powerful arms around Rose's waist and crushed her against him. Chris kissed her shoulder, neck, and face, then gently stroked the back of her head.
