"Now that's all I have to say, I shall take my leave" the examiner walk down the stage and vanish from the crowds eyes.

As the examiner vanished from their sight, people has started rushing to register.

It was crowded and disorganised until much later. Mark and edelina got separated because of the mass amount of registrant squeezing amd flooding the registration center. Although the birth-rate of elves was low, the land that the empire occupies as well as the world tree was as big as a continent like the Europe. There's a lot of land in the empire and the population didn't dwindle even when there is constant war.

There were also some a bit taller and older, since these people must be repeater of examination.

It also matters for the other empire like bloodleaf and darkmoon empire but no matter how big the territory was, they were only still part of the algarith continent.

Luckily, mark just made it on the line where people standing while waiting.

Participants seems about 6 to 12 in age, though they may seems just the same height, but those who are 11 or 12 are as tall as a high schooler.

Mark look back and saw edelina who were about 30 meters away. He hoped edelina can register on time.

The line was long, it took mark a long time before he could register as an examinee. All he could only do was wait and just listen to the chatter of the other kids. There were few examiner who watch guard the line, providing security and assistance. They were elites in the advance class, means they were like a college students volunteered this event as an activity.

The wait has end, he thinks about his previous actions to combat boredom, atleast he didn't fall asleep. After a long time waiting in line finally it was mark turn.

After the registration, he was given a leaf slip with a number in it indicating the classroom for the written test. The number in it was '15' when he look at it.

After getting out of the registration area. Mark coincidentally noticed a familiar figure. It was Raen, and seems boredom was written all over his face, standing there doing nothing but guard. Mark approach him and he asked for the room indicated from the number in the leaf.

Raen replied frankly.

"wait, aren't you that girl's boyfriend... Hmm, let's see... Number 15? Just follow that corridor and turn west, there you can find it. "

"I get it, but can I ask you? "

"sure, since I'm bored here.. I'm only here because that old man made me do this"

"how is sheera?"

Raen yawn in boredom while Mark wave his hand on his back, he followed raen word of direction, walking at the end of the corridor and taking westward and finally, mark have reached the the door with a number 15 in the middle.

Mark entered on the room and saw a normal classroom with many participants sitting there. Chatters stop a second when he arrived, but when they found out that it was only mark they continued talking.

Mark walk into an empty seat and sit confortably. As soon as a female examiner entered. All chatter halted.

The examiner handed out leaf slips with an old-fashioned pencil that made from burned woods, just coated with a rare type of leaf called ሪ𝗊᪴ỿ́ ꞇ́ɩ᪴𝖻, which means scwaré léɩaf or square leaf. The name of the pencil was called ᚠᛕᚣ᛫ᚹᚺᛏ, means gray pen in cirth, which was created by the old dwarf who took sherry as a disciple. The old dwarf was proficient at writing and speaking in cirth since cirth is a common language in siegfried kingdom. Mark was certain the elves here in algarith uses the same elvish language from the movie 'lord of the rings' he watch which was already a century old movie from earth. He can just be able to understand because of his authority that was currently lvl1 which has a function called 'language auto-translation lvl1' which breaks the language barrier for mark, well most of it.

He picked up the gray pen and started answering the leaf slip, since mark could automatically translate elvish language. He could easely answer the question some of the question, and it was quite easy and some were slightly hard. But there is one question that was suppose to be a bonus. Mark didn't notice that the last question was written in runic language,

Mark subconsciously answer the bonus part of the test. Since it was a yes or no questionaire. He simply answer no, but because he was reading a runic symbols. His answer was written as ᚾᛟ(nu).

Mark finished the test as easy as it seems. While the other was still scratching there heads in search for the accurate answer while other got apprehended because they were caught cheating in there unique ways, even mark notice few other people cheating without getting caught.

20 minutes...10 min... 5 min... 1min...until it drop to 0 and the remaining the was up and now mark submitted the test paper. Because he was already done.

He was about to leave but the examiner stopped him and the others who where about to leave too saying.

"stop, were not done yet! Go back to your respective seat, participants"

Luckily no chair was left vacant yet. The participants were in amidst of confusion, but they still follow what the examiner said.

"everyone the second test will begun, that will be aptitude test so don't stroll out because the rune stones will be one it's way here"

Murmurs and chatters fill the room, then someone raise his hand. Then the examiner spoke in his direction.

"what do you want to know, participant code 076?"

The leaf slip that the register office gave the participant was a slightly rare hardened leaf. At the front, there was were the classroom number be found, in the back will be the serial number of the participant.

Ofcourse they were told to wear the serial code id all the times when participating the examination.

He stood up and answer in a slight panicky tone but later he became calmer.

"y-yes! Umm.. Maam wasn't the aptitude test starts in the training ground before the one on one mock fight?"

"yes, to satisfy your curiosity no. 076 the reason why the aptitude test commenced here is to prevent the place from being crowded and also the mock fight will be tomorrow be sure y'all to be here at exact 8'o clock"

As soon as they understood, the guy with a serial code 076 replied "yes maam" while slowly sitting down.

A few minutes past. There were a guy who brought a box while huffing as it seems to be heavy. Struggling but he successfully display it in the examiner's desk. The man who constantly huffing, bow down and spoke.

"excuse me, maam"

"thank you, you may leave" replied the female examiner. The busy guy hurriedly rush out. The female examiner opened the box and a glistening and colorful rune stones were visible to the naked eyes. Mark was fascinated but wasn't that excited like other participants do. Because he already saw them in his past life when he was still playing planar war online. Rune stones was given free if you take the path as a wizard since mark used to be a warrior.

He only asked his sister mina, who was an enchantress who enchants weapons. Because of her in-game occupation, of course she had lots of rune stones since it was the main ingredients in enchanting weapons.

The rune stone that the female examiner holds was as blue as sapphire with a rune symbol inside the very stone, as if the symbol was sealed inside the rune stone.

It contain the power of water element magic. Only those who have a water energy mana core can activate the rune magic that was stored inside the gemstone.

The next ones were topaz with earth element rune character in it, emerald with wind element rune character in it, ruby for storing sun energy and fire elements, a tsavorite garnet that measure life energy and a moonstone for storing moonforce energy.

Ruby are one of the 3 gemstone that could store powerful sun energy and moonstones exclusively stores moonforce energy.

But moon energy was an exclusive energy for high-elves bloodlines, only royalties could use it.

Mark wonder if he could light up the moonstone and use the unknown magic it had in it.
