Light Of Destiny

Mark felt fatigue after studying at school. He didn't feel like riding his bike. He then decided to walk his way home. Mark make a detour in the alleyways to reach home faster. There was an instance when the pendant glow again. It emit faint light for a minute. He reached the public road on the end of the alleyway. While he was walking. Suddenly, The light it emits keeps turning off and on like a bulb light. Yet no one even notice the fainyt glows. It was so quite bright that mark used his hand to hold the pendant and block the light. the people thought he was crazy, and was murmuring nearby him whispering what's wrong with him, but mark didn't mind them but he still feel the sense of shame in his act.

The light has finally calming down.

"Huh? What's happening all of the sudden!? Is this pendant has a light bulb inside? But it suppose to be made purely metallic. It doesn't makes sense.... But why would it glow?"

He was flabbergasted as he saw the ball reformed into a small box. Each sides of the box contained runic symbols that was glowing with different colors of light but it eventually return to it's original shape as a ball. He felt like it was only an illusion that shown to him, it felt like magic. He suddenly had a bad feeling about it and let the magical event erased in his head like nothing happened in there.

For other who saw him and his masquerade.

Nothing really happened except for mark holding his ball like he was worshipping it. There gaze and murmurs left mark embarrassed.

"I better hurry home, i had a bad feeling about this."

He rode the bike who was always by his side except when he was at school. He casually park the bike in the school's parking lot and use it to rode home. This day. When he entered the game store, he only leave the bike outside. He wouldn't worry about it getting stolen since it has a fingerprint lock identification. He rode home with a calm face as if nothing really happened there. Until he reached home as he walk at the gate of the house. He saw his younger sister chatting with his friends. He wouldn't care about it since they often visit but he just couldn't interact with them nor they interact with him, only sometimes. He continued his way but his advancement towards the front door on his house got interrupted by his sister. Her friend was looking at him but they didn't spoke as if they were looking at a drama.

"Brother why are you late?"

"Well, like always going to the store to browse"

"Why not just browse in the internet there were shop there although it wasn't free shipping when it come From earth atleast its reliable"

"Why would i need to wait for many days just to buy one on earth do you Know one of our neighbours bought a shelf worth of books it took 3 months to arrive not only that. He got scammed, it was just an empty box arrived"

"It not like all of them are scammer if you-"

Mark interrupted her with an expressionless face, he already know why would his sister talk with him she wouldn't really bother him.

Only if she doesn't need something.

"quit beating around the bushes, how much do you want?"

Said mark while sitting on the bike.

She was just going to 'borrow' the money, not actually she was just asking for money.

Her eyes lit up and said cheerfully.

"Can i have at least 200 CP we were just going on a short 'field trip'?"

" But didn't brother just gave you 2,000 CP allowance. hy would you need more?"

" it wasn't enough. I saved 1,500 preparing for an upcoming school projects"

"but aren't 500 already enough?

" it wasnt.. "she replied with a serious look.

"Fine" mark sigh in resignation helplessly. He knew his sister will pester him more if he didn't do what she wants. And she is quite annoying for mark. Her sister happily and gratefully yet playfully said.

"yay, thanks! Th... But don't worry, i will use the money well!"

Mark remained expressionless as he already heard it many times as he thought her sister was like an npc repeating each dialogue she was program too.

"but where you used it though? "

"you don't have to know, where just going on a field trip"

"what!? Another field trip again... Fine do what you want" said mark sadly.

"ok then, I'll be late this time, so you eat first in the evening and I've already cook a food and its on the fridge"

She sister left with her friend and vanished in mark's vision. She said she'll go for a 'field trip'. But he know where Will they exactly go.

Of course in the concert of her favourite idol. He could only sigh while muttering 'women really have many things in common'.

She left completely trusting her brother since she knew her brother would honor his words. Mark took out his phone from his pocket his phone and send 200 CP to his sister bank acc. He could say he has about 50,000 or more as his savings in his bank card half of it was his overall yearly savings and the rest was some money his parents left behind.

He didn't really spend much and his brother monthly salary was 20,000 created monthly. His brother would go home occasionally and give mark and mina 2,000 each allowance for mark he was task to bought groceries and other things needed home but he only go shop when it's weekday already so he was given 5,000 instead but sometimes mina would join him, which will give him a little headache when shopping. Until then when his brother will finally started his own family.

They have to do there best to atleast become independent after there older brother is married. Because they can't always rely on him and recently, his brother has been seeing a woman lately.

Mark saw the clock on his phone '1:08pm' he ended his class around '11am',

Mark walk to the garage. To parked his bike there. The garage opened using a fingerprint detector and parked it there. there was also an fingerprint detector near the door. only the three of them could only be recognized. It also applies to the garage door and the backdoor were the garden lies. Since they're siblings, the three could originally wanted to used the face verification detector but when they saw there's a flaw in it like one in the news 6 house was robbed empty after the thief uses the flaw on it the criminal was caught though and the affected sue the company who created it and asked for compensation so they uses the fingerprint instead of face detect or keycard in case it might lost without replacement. He put his thumb in the fingerprint detector and a cold voice sounded, it was low so only he could hear it.

The door opened up. He walk in and closed the door as the door won't closed automatically shut closed like the school door does. Mark was quite hungry, good thing her sister already prepared the meal at the table.

He sat down and eat his fill.

He then entered his room and changed his clothe to the one he casually wear when he was going to Immerse himself to gaming.

And after changing, he sit on his chair that located near the computer desk. He turn his holographic computer on then a light-blue interface Emitting screen shaping like a normal monitor. Even the keyboard was unique. It seems like the latest version of computer in his current era.
