After saying goodbye to the Weasleys, Ivan returned to the Gryffindor Lounge alone.
On the way, Ivan also found out that there was a new information about the Marauder's Map in the system inventory.
[Magical Item: Marauder's Map
Magic: Strong
Description: This is a map of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which shows all living people at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Powerful-level magic surprised Ivan, but when he thought about how the Marauder's Map could monitor even Dumbledore's movements, he took it for granted.
It is unknown how James Potter, Sirius, and Lupin managed to create such powerful magical tools over a decade ago.
Peter Pettigrew, close at hand, might also know something,
With the Marauder's Map, Ivan was actually capable of turning Peter Pettigrew in, but Ivan was not prepared to do so.
Sirius did not want to face Dumbledore again for a while, partly because he had seen Scabbers in the papers and partly because he was still under suspicion.
With the Marauder's Map in hand, Ivan was more confident in his plan to sneak out and buy the potions he needed. All he needed was a free moment.
In the Gryffindor Restroom, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were gathered around the burning stove, although their faces were not as relaxed as Ivan had hoped.
"Hey, Yvonne, where have you been?" Ron asked when he saw her.
"You'll have to ask your brothers," Ivan replied simply, changing the subject. "Are you celebrating Harry catching the Golden Snitch?"
"Come on, we were discussing how my broom got out of hand during the match," Harry said, shaking his head.
"That must have been Snape!" Ron said angrily.
"That's right, I saw Professor Snape trying to pull a fast one on Harry's broomstick, and when Harry's broom got out of order, Snape shut up." Hermione did not take Snape's side this time, as she had seen it with her own eyes, and Harry was one of her best friends.
As a result of Ivan's timely "handling" of the problem, Harry was able to get out of harm's way before Hermione even got to work, and the grandstand did not catch on fire.
Yvonne listened as the trio discussed the possibility of Snape's involvement in Harry's murder.
"Harry, it was Professor Cino who caused your broomstick to go wrong. I was sitting next to him and interrupted his spell."
Ivan briefly explained how he had found Chino pretending to be asleep and secretly casting a spell, to Harry's disbelief.
"Professor Chino? How is that possible?"
"Then why did Hermione… see Snape chanting?" Ron was incredulous.
"Apparently one of them was trying to save you by casting a counter-curse, and if it had been Chino, he wouldn't have had to hide like this!" Ivan explained.
"Perhaps Professor Chino is afraid of Snape's revenge!" Harry said, stumbling over his words.
Harry was beginning to believe Ivan's story, but he could not accept the possibility that Snape would save him.
Ron and Hermione were also skeptical, even though Snape's eyes and actions made it clear that he wished Harry were dead!
Yvonne sighed, but didn't try to defend Snape. After all, the situation was complicated, and it was best to leave it to the parties involved.
All we can say is that Snape attracted too much hatred at Gryffindor…
"Just stay away from them for the rest of the school year anyway," Ivan eventually said.
"But I was far enough away from them! And yet one of them tried to kill me!" Harry was furious. He had been targeted by Snape ever since he had entered Hogwarts, and now Chino was threatening to murder him. Harry could not understand why so many people were after him.
There was a burst of relief, and Harry began to calm down, after which they told Ivan about the information they had obtained from Hagrid after their match, which Hermione concluded.
"So, between Snape and Chino, there must have been an attempt to sneak through the trapdoor guarded by the three-headed dog to find what Dumbledore was hiding inside."
"By the way, Ivan, do you know anything about Nicolas Flamel?" Hermione asked, suddenly struck by the question that had been puzzling them all afternoon.
Ivan hesitated, unsure if he should let them know about the Philosopher's Stone at this point, but eventually shook his head.
For one thing, the longer he brewed the potion, the more secure it would be, and for another, breaking Dumbledore's plan for raising a Savior could have serious consequences, and Ivan did not want to be asked out a second time.
Although his Occlumency had been raised to Level 2, it was not enough to deal with Dumbledore's Dementor.
As for whether Chino will get the stone at this time? Ivan is not worried.
Because Dumbledore, the sly old fox, had not yet placed the Mirror of Eris inside, Dumbledore would have to wait until he was certain that Harry would pass the test of the Mirror of Eris.
Chino would be damned if he could find the stone now…
Seeing that Ivan did not know who Nicolas Flamel was, Hermione, Harry, and the others were slightly disappointed, but soon began to discuss their wild guesses.
Ivan, on the other hand, had no interest in the Philosopher's Stone that he could not get his hands on. He only cared about whether Hagrid's dragon eggs were ripe… ah, no, whether they had hatched…
However, given the amount of time that had passed, it was likely that none of them had been obtained, so Ivan decided to get the ingredients ready in the meantime.
Two days later, Ivan found an opportunity to relax for the rest of the afternoon after a boring Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson.
There was enough time for him to make a trip to Hogsmeade…
After double-checking on the Marauder's Map that there was no one there, Ivan tapped his wand on the statue of the one-eyed witch and whispered the words "Left and Right Parting".
There was a faint noise, and the statue's hunched back parted from the main body, revealing an irregular passageway. Ivan waved his wand and cast a Illuminating Charm, then slipped into the short, narrow passageway.
