272. Enters Lady Jevera

Lady Jevera pushed open the door slowly. Her footsteps were soft as she stepped into the room. She closed the door behind her and immediately bent her head, "Sire."

"Jevera," he said with a click of his tongue. "I didn't expect to see you so soon. How can I help you?"

"I merely saw you walking through the door and I thought I should welcome you." She said and slowly raised her head.

There was a glint in her eyes and no smile on her lips as she spoke. She was looking at them with defiance as if trying to get some reaction from him.

"There is no need for that and if that's all, you may leave." He muttered and turned away from her. 

He sat back on the bed and threw his torso back so his top was laying on the bed. What did she mean, welcome him? It wasn't her home, has she finally lost it?
