I Want War

Galahad POV,

Galahad looked at the knocked out Phobio who was foaming at the mouth and then at Rimuru who was looking at him with a scrutinizing gaze that demanded answers. He yawned and sighed, "She did it." he said plainly pointing at Milim who looked at him betrayed. "Milim!" Rimuru said a bit angry, this demon lord created too much work for him! "You don't get any lunch!" he said folding his arms, that should be enough to make this childish Demon Lord regret her actions.

Except everything doesn't always go as planned.

She smiled cheekily and gave him a thumbs up, "It's fine! I'll eat with Galahad!" she said excitedly, especially now that Galahad's maids had started plagiarizing even Tempest's dishes. If it was up to her she'd even give them a reward for knowing how to cook every dish on this planet! "His maids can cook anything!" she said with stars in her eyes as she floated around Galahad. Galahad chuckled and patted her head, it's true that the Primordials go a bit far in their loyalty and fanaticism.

"Sure...you're welcome anytime." Milim was a millennia old friend and he wasn't a dick besides she was a person who's presence was quite enjoyable for him, "Umu!" Milim nodded excitedly. Galahad glanced at Rimuru who was looking at him in disbelief. Maids? Maids! Rimuru wanted those too! Lucky bastard. "No not a lucky bastard....I took a nuke to...the face for them." Galahad said immediately putting together what Rimuru was thinking from the look on his face, he faced hardship for them! Rein and Mizari ruptured most MOST of his organs!

"How did you? Also what?!" Rimuru semi shouted, any man of culture would want maids but if that's what you have to go through to get them then no thanks! Galahad dismissively waved his hand, "Ignore it...And look." he said pointing at the party of adventurers that was entering town. He waved his hand and started to leave, they would now hold a meeting in which Rimuru would invite Youm and his group to serve him as well as form relations with Blumund. In other words....something totally unrelated to him.

"Oh we're leaving Master?" Nero asked running up to join Galahad was already on his way out. Galahad nodded in affirmation, he had nothing to do here. He looked at the various buildings around town curiously while eventually yawning, this city was extremely pleasant to look at if nothing else .

Galahad and Nero arrived at his mansion in the forest after ten or something minutes of walking, he wasn't keeping track. He looked to the side where Testarossa and Carrera were sparring? They were headbutting and glaring at each other as the whole front yard lay in ruins probably because of their fighting. Rein walked out and bowed, "Welcome back, Master." she said politely and looked at the other two demonesses who were busy sparring, heh brutes. Galahad yawned and looked at her, "Yeah, I'm back." he said lazily walking in before settling down on a couch.

He would be going to war soon, Mariabell was an annoying little girl. Just like with Luminism she tried to sink her claws into his church as well but now that she had successfully consolidated the Western Nations she wasn't useful anymore and as such she could be removed. He looked up in thought, that little girl was a plague hell bent on World Domination and would become annoying later.

Furthermore the Rossos who backed her were also annoying idiots and waging war on them was the perfect way to announce his return to the world. The problem is his armies would have to pass directly through Falmuth to get to the Kingdom of Siltrozzo where all of them were nested for that it was necessary for Falmuth's army to be elsewhere since their King was extremely greedy and would waste weeks on negotiation for charges, weeks that could be saved if he wasn't there.

This would also give the Rossos ample time to evacuate the kingdom and move somewhere else to avoid his army. However that king was a genius too, attacking Tempest now that Luminism was apathetic towards monsters due to his relationship with Luminous would be extremely disadvantageous because the Church wouldn't aid them.

If the Clerics of the Seven Luminaries tried to make a move Luminous would definitely catch on to them and remove them with an army never being dispatched to aid Falmuth. "Ah so...much thinking." Galahad muttered sinking further in to the couch. This means that the Falmuth invasion might as well never happen in the first place ruining more of his plans.

This meant that he needed the Clerics to make their move and aid Falmuth no matter what and that was an impossible scenario now. "Unless." he slightly smiled he finally had it, he would ask Luminous for a favor, she would not interfere with their action of declaring a crusade. The friction this out of the blue crusade would cause with the populace due to their apathetic doctrine would be dealt with by the news of the Calamity God's return after his church declares a crusade of their own.

And on top of that he himself would owe Luminous one, a pretty good deal since he was a Demon Lord as well as the God of the second most influential religion in this world. The benefits would be great as well, and after Walpurgis he could make the sealed space for himself so that he could make Creation Lord Ahura Mazda. Why go through all this trouble? It would remove one of the major antagonists early on, stunt Yuuki's power growth and would make for a flashy way of coming back!...What? It was fine to flex sometimes right?

With that his next course of action was decided, he was going to make a deal with Luminous Valentine in order to let the Clerics have free rein over their actions. He slowly stood up and made a teleportation magic to go directly to Luminous' living quarters since he had been there before...they were friends, don't take any weird meanings.

Luminous Valentine's Home?,

In a large room with an over all silvery appearance, silver furniture, silver decorations you get the point, a single girl with silver hair was lazily sitting on a throne. Luminous was bored, yes she was bored but that was pretty much what she was all the time since she liked to laze around a lot. Hell, she didn't even care or even know about her church declaring war until after it actually happened.

Yes those matters were for the two brothers and Hinata! She couldn't be bothered, she sighed and was about to get up but someone extremely familiar teleported in. A man who always wore baggy clothes, most of the time a hoodie but someone very close to her. She looked at him for a while before she looked at herself and realized the position she was in before hurriedly straightening up. "*cough* W-What brings you here, Galahad?" she asked slightly embarrassed but also happy.

"I wanted...to talk?" Galahad responded, that was what he was here to do but then he chuckled remembering her previous posture. A few moments passed in silence before the Vampire Queen actually lunged at Galahad and hugged him, 300 years! She hadn't seen him for 300 years! "Why haven't you even visited? Or even told us something? You could have even sent a message! or a letter? You could have sent one of those accursed maids!" Luminous went on a rant about all the things he could have done after backing away a bit, of course she couldn't tackle him with her strength so she settled for a hug.

Galahad slightly chuckled at the girl's antics before she realized what she was doing and stopped abruptly, "It's been a while." Galahad said slightly smiling, she was actually 700 years younger than him. She folded her arms, "Indeed it has." he went dark for several hundred years! That was a while? "May I ask for the reason for your disappearance?" she said leading him to one of the other rooms so that they could sit down and talk.

Galahad nodded, "Clayman actually....and some other personal stuff." he said before yawning and looking at Luminous who had frozen. "How many times have I told you? You need to put yourself higher! Why do you think that little runt could do shit?" she asked annoyed, this man had very low self esteem when it came to being respected or not, Clayman was a weakling who would be stomped by any of the Demon Lords and he stopped coming for hundreds of years because of him?!

Galahad slightly laughed and scratched the back of his head, it wasn't that he was afraid just that he was busy with Yuuki and then with Shizue, he also had to deal with the other primordials and then Nero's shenanigans but now they were pretty tame. Eventually both of them reached a room with sofas on either side and settled down opposite to each other.

Galahad looked at her, "So what...have you been up to?" he asked curiously, it was necessary to keep some knowledge about the lives of your friends. Luminous nodded before sighing, "Nothing much I suppose, this place gets boring eventually. It secures my people so all is well, I have also had a challenger. Ah that was a tale.." she went on to explain how Hinata had risen through their ranks and eventually chanced upon the truth of the God Luminous.

In an attempt at some sort of revenge, she attacked Luminous after nearly killing her two attendants but was just floored when she actually fought with the Demon Lord, after some discussion and explanations by Luminous herself the girl finally relented and chose to serve her, this time fully aware of the truth behind Luminism. She sighed with her head resting on a hand, "How could you declare yourself a Demon Lord and a God at the same time?" she asked curiously, both of them did the same thing and yet her entire religion would be compromised if the truth got out but in Galahad's case it was well known and accepted that he was a Demon Lord hailed as the Calamity God.

Galahad shrugged, "I suppose.....it's because mine was built around that." the first people to worship him much like Milim's Dragon Faithful were fully aware that he was in fact a Demon Lord and yet they still continued, even elevating his status to that of a God's. "Ah what a mistake." if she had done that too then it wouldn't be a problem.
