Chapter 2

After wiping the blood off of his face, Silver was about to re-open the system and look at his status once more, when he suddenly heard a noise in his head.

[Ding!]

After the noise sounded, the system appeared in front of him, but, it wasn't showing his status but instead, quests.

[Quests:

Drink Blood | Reward - 1% - Completed

Drink The Blood Of A Human | Reward - 2%

Kill A Human | Reward - 3%

Feed On 10 Humans | Reward - 4%

'So this is how I advance by bloodline...'

'It seems drinking the blood of that rabbit not only satisfied my hunger but also completed a quest...' However, even though the quest said completed, Silver didn't feel any stronger.

'Is 1% not enough for me to feel stronger?' Wanting to make sure he actually received the reward, Silver pulled out of his status.

And, it turns out he didn't.

(I didn't pull out the status here to avoid complaints. However, if you wish for me to actually show it more in the future, lmk (Let Me Know))

'I didn't receive it? Maybe I have to say something, like.... redeem!'

'...'

'No? How about something more clear.....system give me the quest rewards.' After he said this, he suddenly felt a volt go through his body, then, he felt stronger, faster and more alive.

Pulling out his status again, Silver wanted to see if any of his stats had changed, however, they hadn't.

'I definitely feel stronger, it must not be enough to effect my status thought...' Closing the system again, Silver once again took a look at his surroundings.

'I'm naked right now, leaving this forest wouldn't be the best, so, I'll walk around, try and find a human, and then steal his clothes.' Silver didn't know if he would be able to find a human, but, it was better that than leaving the forest butt naked.

So, Silver began to walk, and as he did; he tested out his abilities, such as his speed, strength, agility and stamina.

He found out he could move fast; very fast.

His strength was also a lot. He punched a tree and his fist went right through; very easily.

He also jumped and ended up 30ft into the air.

As for his stamina, well; his been running max speed for the past minute and he doesn't feel the least bit tired.

He hadn't tested out his endurance or health yet since he wanted to be in a more secluded place for that.

It's not that he was worried someone would see, if they did; he would kill them.

He just didn't feel like bashing a rock against his hand.

- Silver Pov -

I've been running for the past 2 minutes and haven't seen a single person.

But, Just as I was about to stop and go a different way, I heard someone shoot a gun in the direction I was headed.

Hearing the gun, a smile appeared on my face and I instantly sprinted towards that direction.

I wasn't worried about getting shot, after all, I was much faster than the human eye could see, before he would be able to aim at me; I would have already killed him.

Realising I was getting closer, I leaped into the air and landed on a tree.

Looking down, I spotted my target.

It was a man, aged around 25-30, with a small beard, brown eyes, short brown hair, an average face, an athletic build and a rifle in his hands.

The man was currently laying down, aiming at a deer in the distance.

Watching the man for a few more seconds, I began to formulate a plan to kill him.

Even though I thought a gun wasn't a threat to me before, now, watching it in action; it made me a little nervous.

So, I looked around for a weapon I could use but found nothing.

So instead I ripped a small branch of the tree I was standing on and then looked towards the man.

'Lets hope this works.' Getting on my feet, I stood, wobbling from the branch underneath me, with a small, stick in my hands.

I aimed the stick at the man, and, then, I threw it at him.

It moved at a very fast speed, and carried a lot of power.

The stick went right through his back and through his stomach; killing him instantly.

'Yes!' Jumping down from the 50ft branch I was standing on, I walked towards the man and as I was looking at his corpse, my smile faded from my face.

'I forgot...I was supposed to kill him and steal his clothes, but, his jacket and top are covered in blood and have a whole going right through them.' Still, I took off his trousers which fitted me perfectly.

'Well, it's better than nothing.' Chuckling, I was about to walk away when I heard a noise in my head.

[Ding!]

'Right, I killed a human, so...' Pulling out the system; I looked at my quests.

'System, give me the rewards.' As I thought this, I felt a jolt of power go through my body.

I pulled out my status again and smirked when I saw my new stats.

Even though my strength, speed and stamina didn't go up, I was still happy.

After all, my health getting higher is the most important thing.

If my health reaches SSS, I'm pretty sure I will become immortal.

And if my endurance reached that stage as well, then, there will probably be nothing that can pierce my skin.

Even if I got hit by a train, I wouldn't have a single cut; I would be able to walk freely and do anything I want; nobody would be able to hurt me.
