"HALEYYY!!!"

"Oh God." was all Haley could say.

Haley and I slowly turned around and saw an old dude with his arm around a very curvy Latino and to her side was a kid.

"Haley, who is this? He's so tall.!" The lady says.

I let go of Haley and extend my arm forward to shake her hand.

"Hello, I'm-" before I could finish Haley cut me off.

"Gloria this is my boyfriend Logan," Haley says blushing.

I look back at her with a confused look but I don't say anything about it.

"This is Gloria and she is married to my grandpa and he is her son Manny." She says gesturing towards them.

I see her grandpa glaring at me.

"Ahhh, I'm sorry sir, I would've introduced myself if I would have known," I say extending my hand. He continues to stare at me he finally grabs my hand and pulls me closer to him. He starts to whisper to me only Manny and I could hear him.

"I know her dad probably made a fool out of himself, but let me tell you if you ever hurt her it will be the last thing you do." Jay says glaring at me.

I look back toward Haley and see her and Gloria whispering about something. I couldn't really hear them but this was the gist of it.

"You to look cute together." I hear Gloria whisper.

I don't hear what Haley said back but I can see her smile.

"Sir I don't think that I ever could," I say looking at Haley.

I look back at him he now has an indifferent look.

"Call me Jay."

I look at Manny and was going to shake his hand but he was glaring at me so I chose not to.

"Gloria we need to leave or we will be late," Jay says to Gloria who is now walking back to us with Haley in tow.

"Are you coming as well?" Gloria asks looking at me.

"I wouldn't want to come uninvited," I say. I look at Haley and she has a hopeful look on her face.

"Well I'm now inviting you." Gloria says.

"Are you su-" before I could finish, Gloria cuts me off.

"Your coming." was all she said before she started to walk out the mall.

"You can't win." Jay and Manny say before following her.

Haley looks at me.

"Sorry, if you don't want to come you don't have to." Haley says looking away.

I start to chuckle.

"Let's go," I say putting my arm around her.

"I can't wait to meet the rest of your family." I say as we both sit down in the car.

"Mitch is cool, but Cam can be a little bit extra," Haley says.

"I think I will like them both no matter what." Haley just smiles.

After 40 minutes after she gave me the directions, we make it to their house.

"I think we are the last ones." I say.

"Great." Haley says.

I get out and open her door and put my arm around her as we start to walk in.

As Haley was opening the door I start to hear the lion king music.

Haley opens the door and everyone turns to look at us.

"Oh my god it's a baby." Haley says.

Haley walks inside with me following her.

"We adopted a baby. Her name is Lily." The one I am guessing is Mitch says.

"Exiting!!!" Yep he is definitely Cam.

"Just turn it off." Mitch says.

"I can't it's who I am." Cam responds.

"The music." Mitch clarified.

"Oh yes the music." Cam says as he starts to chuckle.

"Come say high to Lily." Cam says.

"Ay, miren a la princesita." Gloria says.

"She's so cute." Haley says walking toward cam, I stand next to Jay.

Phil looks my way and raises his hand.

"Yo what's up Loges." Phil says.

Jay and I both have a confused look on our faces but i quickly put on a smile.

"How ya doin Mr.D." I say.

'He definitely liked the nickname.' Phil thinks to you himself.

Phil stands up and walks to the baby in Cam's arms.

"Hi there Lily," Phil says.

"Wait isn't that gonna be hard for her to say?" Phil says.

Everyone just ignores him.

"So cute." Haley says again.

Jay starts to talk.

"Umm, Excuse me.

Okay, I-I-I know that I said I thought this was a bad idea.

But uh, what do I know? I mean, it's not like I wrote the book on fatherhood.

Been trying all my life to get it right. I'm still screwing up.

Right, Manny?" Jay says with everyone looking at him.

"I wrote a song about it in the car." Manny says.

"Of course you did. Uh-.

Anyway. I'm happy for you. And, uh. You should know that uh, I'm not here to spit in your face I'm here to blow at your back." Jay says and at that moment I immediately knew what he was trying to say.

"It sounds better in Spanish." Jay says.

Everyone has a confused loom until i start to talk.

"la brisa en tu espalda, no quien te escupa en la frente." I say.

"Finally someone else in this family can speak Spanish." Gloria asks raising her hands in the air.

"What does it mean." Haley asks with cute look in her eyes.

Everyone in the room is now focused on me.

"Jay was close but it means, "do not blow spit into his face but provide the wind that blows spit away from his face. In other words protect him from trouble do not cause him trouble". I say.

"What he said." Jay responds.

"Well, who dropped you from heaven?" Cam asks walking toward me.

"Cam?" Mitch questions.

"That's Haley's boyfriend." Gloria blurts out.

"I knew it." Alex says jumping up from her seat.

....

It's been about 10 minutes since I got to know everyone in the room, and now they are asking questions about me.

"So what do you do?" Cam asks.

"I just became the starting QB at school." I say and Cam and Jay's eyes seem to light up.

"Speaking of that, the first game of the season is on Friday you should all come." I say.

"No pleas-" Haley tried to say then Gloria interrupted.

"We will be there." Everyone else just nodded.

10 minutes later.

Haley has Lily in her arms and is just holding her, Alex is sitting right next to her.

I am talking to Cam a little bit away with a drink in my hand.

Haley starts to play with baby Lily then Alex says something.

"You could have one you know." Alex says.

I immediately spit the drink out.
