Things are going along

Even with an inner conflict going on, supplies still reached its destination even if it was splattered with some blood on it. Reinforcments soon arrived along these supplies, and a defensive front line had been formed along with traps and walls.

The dark forces, which was just a name used for any group that killed the weak and vulnerable for no reason, or rebelled against the gods. There were other reasons for being lumped into these groups, but all that mattered was that once you were, it was game over.

This soon ended, however, as these forces retreated back into the deep, dark, and outer reaches of the rixis lands. Leaders and elders known this isn't a retreat put a plan and mostly likely had to do with the other fight.

They couldn't waste more time and effort chasing them and looking under rocks, so instead, they kept a basic watch group. Then, he moved on to joining the undead fight, which realised some pressure put it. There was still some tension.

Thus, it also meant that more blessed could join the fight while the twins blessed stayed behind and kept watch of the dark forces.

In case you forgot, the gods of Nancy's race would be less of, and which meant they would have less blessed. They were also weaker on an individual basis compared to one of Jack's gods. This was why the twins, when working together, could fight one of Jack's pantheon, and it be even.

Now, this was the downsides of joining someone else, but in the end, they still had the opportunity to live and have gods in the first place.

It's not a nice situation, but it's the only option that keeps both Nancy and the blues alive. For losing the shop and control of the blues, she had the chance to reach her kids again.

This situation and friendship between Jack and Nancy was rare, and in the history of the games on a few examples would appear.

The blues themselves had a strange relationship with both of these humans as they Instinctually understood. Nancy was their creator, which wasn't something that could be changed or challenged. She was as they called her the great maker and started it all for them. While Jack was seen and called the guiding custodian that protects and leads the way for them.

The blues understood their position they now fit in the new society they were a part of and understood they weren't the conductor. But that didn't mean they were second class as they, and thankfully, the rixis appreciated each others role.

For now, the blues needed the rixis to survive and are the only reason they have the time to do what they loved because of the rixis. But once they developed a civilization in which they could walk around without immediately dying. That's when they could start being leaders and, even without physical strength, have a presence and fear that comes with their intelligence.

On the side of the religious order, they were on fire as this was their chance to prove themselves to the gods. Through destroying these forces and giving sacrifice to their creator and hopes of being either loved or rewarded.

For Minerva's followers, they focused on keeping a record of the knowledge told through crude drawings or through talks that they remembered and retold.

They would go through it multiple times to try and increase the accuracy and make sure it was more clear to remember. Then acolytes who would be used as messengers who would run around to different leaders and groups.

What came with this was a lot of power as if you had the information they badly needed and they weren't kind to their needs, they may not get that information.

As for the other now, 5 groups that were a part of the one whose holy order were also very active. Nyx's was training new warriors while Renka's followers supported the tribes and leaders throughout the war so far. Themis's followers were keeping the balance and standing guarding, and it was his group besides Nyx's that fought the dark forces the most.

Themis's blessed could sense when the balance was being tilted through his blessings and had an easier time tracking them down. Now, he would be on the front line against the undead, which may or may not help.

Lastly, we had Caer God of dreams blessed who was the first of godesss blessed as she hadn't felt the need for one yet.

For the gods, a lot of their blessed would end up looking a certain way, such as Nyx's typically being muscular with many kinds of weapons and wearing heavy armour. While minervas looked more like a scholar with long robes and many tablets or followers to remember information.

Renka and Themis would typically be very vibrate in their clothes. The other was very grey and neutral, but the clothing still being regular rixis wear. While the twins blessed was a blue who just looked a little more strange or experimental with their clothes.

This was all to say you can expect a singular look or style to stick to the blessed as a sort of mirror image to their gods. So it was shocking to see that Caers was quite simply looking like an assassin. With their body covered in dark cloth with only the eyes visible.

This blessed had the wonderful ability to enter the dreams of others and could interact with them. They almost received a boost to their agility and perception, so add that all together, you get a deadly assassin.

In fact, the Jackrixis didn't know this blessed existed since they kept to the shadows and hunted at night only. This was because caer didn't want the dark forces finding out about her blessed ability. Sadly, it was soon revealed after her blessed had to step in to protect the blues blessed who nearly died.

The dark forces tracked down the cave and tried to kill the blessed luckily Caers blessed, found this out while dream stalking. He only just made it to the cave and slit the throats of those who were nearly done with the last of the gaurds protecting the blessed.

Somehow, some got away, and now the news was out, so Caers blessed was tasked with guarding the blues blessed. Since he wouldn't do much against something that can't dream and can fight the dark forces if they come back. So only Themis's joined the fight, but that was still 4 blessed, leading an army of nearly a thousand.

As for the blues blessed, she would be trying to figure out a way to fight back again this new type of magic.
