Infinitely Distant

Wo Shie bathed himself and donned his clothes. While thinking about his life so far.

'Mom… what even happened. Why would our small village be attacked? Why my mom and the witch doctor? Why didn't anything happen to me? If I didn't go to the bath house I would have been dead too..'

Wo Shie was experiencing a storm of thoughts, he felt as if an entire world was crashing down on his heart as tears streamed down his face.

He clenched his fist and a mass of spirit energy began to orbit around his body becoming thicker and thicker causing a gust to build around with Wo Shie at the center of the small vortex that continued to pull in more spirit energy.

'I will find out who did this and why, I know I promised not to look for revenge but without my mom there's no point in getting stronger or even being alive. There's no one in this world that cares about me.'

When he thought this Fu Shen's face crossed his mind and the vortex of spirit energy around him slowed as the vortex reversed and the spirit energy began to flow towards him in the center of the small vortex.

All of the energy directly went into his eyes of the infinite causing him to feel an extremely cool sensation while feeling physical changes happening in his eyes. Both of his eyes had become completely white with a circular alignment of strange black symbols forming his pupils.

'Fu Shen, he's a nice person he even tried to give me information to protect me and offered me that sword. But I don't know it feels like he's hiding some things from me… I'll go to civilization with him and when we reach a city or somewhere where I can blend in I'll split ways with him.'

At this moment Wo Shie arrived back at their campsite and saw Fu Shen in a meditative position.

'We'll since he's making me wait a few more days ill go to the comprehension chamber, I'll give him a good surprise next time we spar.'

With this Wo Shie went a little deeper in the forest outside of Fu Shen's view and reappeared in Taijutu's Abode. He headed straight to the comprehension chamber to further comprehend 'flow'.

He arrived in the comprehension chamber to see Lola sitting quietly meditation in a corner of the prayer mat, he walked down the stairs and to his place in the center of the mat as he felt a deep sensation of calmness and relaxation. He sat down and began comprehending the art of 'flow'.

Wo Shie began his meditation with visualizing, he was pleasantly surprised to see his visualizations were much more clear and felt much more real he began how he usually does with imagining him and Fu Shen fighting.

This time instead of trying to consciously make new decisions in his visualized fights with Fu Shen he let his subconscious do the work by letting go and allowing himself to be more of a passive viewer of the fight and the out of body experience had completely turned to him watching his body fight with Fu Shen from a third perspective.

The feeling within him that he was close to something yet extremely distant from it changed as he felt like he was coming infinitely closer to this distant art of flow. Despite feeling infinitely closer to this art he still felt an infinitely distant from its truth.

He watched on the fight and also kept a portion of his attention on the feeling of flow. In the imagined fight with Fu Shen his body moved with a finesse and level of smoothness he had only Fu Shen move with. From this perspective he could see how their fight resembled a dance.

Fu Shen would dodge his attack with a spin following up with either a punch or a kick only for it to be blocked by Wo Shie using the momentum of his attacks to at to his own as they traded blows continuing to block and dodge each others attacks with Fu Shen getting a few attacks through to Wo Shie.

Wo Shie was surprised when the first attack of Fu Shen's broke through because he actually felt the pain of the attack coming through. This caused him to realize he could actually feel the movements of his body as well deepening the connection of the feeling he had with flow. Like this Wo Shie continued to train and comprehend flow inside the comprehension chamber.
