Harry's mouth opened a couple of times as he looked at the excited Fish, but in the end it turned into a sigh.
He had wanted to talk to Fish about how to escape, but considering that not only was Voldemort watching him, but there was a circle of Death Eaters around him, Harry gave up on this nearly impossible idea.
As for defeating Voldemort, Harry couldn't even think about it, but Fish could hope for it.....
Remembering Fish's giant Patronus, Harry had renewed hope.
But before that could happen, he would have to survive Voldemort.
Harry looked at the calm and collected Voldemort, pursed his lips and tightened his grip on his wand.
"Don't worry, Harry, even if you lose, there's still Fish nya! Come on!"
(??w??)?
Fish consoled him, and for Harry...
It was no use.
He wished Fish would join him and fight Voldemort and his minions.
Unfortunately, all Fish wanted to do was fight Voldemort alone.
"You learned how to duel, didn't you, Harry Potter?"
Seeing Harry approach with his wand in hand, Voldemort asked quietly, his red eyes glowing in the darkness.
"Let us bow to each other, Harry," Voldemort said, bowing, but his snake-like face was still looking at Harry, "Come on, etiquette must be observed.... Dumbledore would want you to behave...bow to death, Harry..."
With his victory in hand, he had plenty of time and desire to tease Harry, and Voldemort took particular satisfaction in teasing his prophesied nemesis.
The Death Eaters laughed together. But Harry did not stoop, refusing to accept Voldemort's taunts.
However, Voldemort would not let him off that easily....
"I said bow." Voldemort raised his wand.
Harry felt his spine buckle, as if a large, invisible hand was mercilessly pushing his back forward.
The Death Eaters laughed even harder.
"Very good," Voldemort whispered, raising his wand, and the pressure on Harry's back disappeared, "Now look at me and lift your head like a man...just like your father did when he died..."
"Now... we'll duel."
As soon as Voldemort finished speaking, he raised his wand and pointed it at Harry, and before he could utter the spell, a pillar of red light flew out from the tip of the wand and shot towards Harry.
"Protego!"
Nervous Harry used the Protego Charm as fast as he could, not to mention other aspects, his reaction speed is still very good, all thanks to Fish who took him to fight a bunch of magical animals last year.
Magical creatures didn't know how to use spells, not to mention the fact that Harry was fighting a bunch of hippogriffs, with a knack for speed.
"Boom!"
The beam of red light hit Harry's Iron Protego Charm, knocking him out.
Although he had used the Protego Charm in time, the difference in power between Harry and Voldemort was so great that even a silent spell from Voldemort could not be easily deflected by Harry.
Harry stood up and saw that Voldemort's second spell was headed his way, and it was too late to use the Protego Charm....
He dodged the spell by darting to the side, using the agility he had developed in Quidditch.
The curse exploded behind Harry, and the gravel splattered and hit Harry's back with a crunch, causing him a lot of pain.
It's just that Harry didn't have time to pay attention to this trivial pain at the moment, Voldemort's curses were coming one after another, and he could only keep dodging them.
"Is that all you've got, Harry?" Voldemort scowled and sneered as he continued to unhurriedly fire spells at him, "You can't beat me 'again' just by dodging."
He was in no hurry to defeat Harry, but he was enjoying the taunt.
Harry took the opportunity and ducked behind a tombstone, panting heavily.
"We're not playing hide and seek, Harry," Voldemort whispered, the cold voice getting closer and closer, "You can't hide from me, does that mean you're tired of our duel? Do you want it to end now, Harry?"
Voldemort kept hitting Harry with words, all the while feeling it was time to end this charade, but he wasn't going to kill Harry now, he still needed Harry to coerce Fish.
"Come out, Harry... come out and fight ...," he urged casually, as he raised the wand in his hand, "BOMBARDA! "
"Boom!"
The beam of light that shot out from the wand blew up the gravestone where Harry was hiding, but Harry also took the opportunity to leap through the smoke and dust of the explosion, his gravel-scratched face was full of determination.... Harry had decided to confront Voldemort head on.
"Expelliarmus!" shouted Harry as he pointed his wand at Voldemort.
"Crucio!" Voldemort shouted at the same time.
Red beams of light shot out of both of their wands at the same time, and collided in the air.
Something strange happened, Harry's and Voldemort's wands suddenly vibrated as if electrified, and a thin beam of golden light connected the two wands.
Then, completely unprepared, Harry felt his feet leave the ground and both he and Voldemort rose into the air, their wands still linked by the glowing golden thread. They flew from Voldemort's father's gravestone to a clearing with no grave....
The Death Eaters panicked, screaming and following them, and circled Harry and Voldemort in the air again, asking Voldemort for instructions, but Fish was forgotten by them.
"Nya?"
(??w??)?
Fish scratched his head in surprise and then ran up, lifted his head and looked at the two in the air, thinking he could rescue Harry if something went wrong.
At that moment, however, the golden thread linking Harry and Voldemort suddenly snapped, but the two wands remained connected, and thousands of arcs of light appeared above Harry and Voldemort.
Golden arcs of light intertwined around them, finally forming a domed golden net, a cage of light that enveloped the two.
Fish and the Death Eaters were now blinded as Barty Crouch Jr. attempted to cast a spell at the net, but to no avail, while Fish hesitated, wondering if he should step forward to save Harry.
"Don't move!" Voldemort shouted to the Death Eaters, "Don't move until I tell you to!"
He wanted to prove the prophecy false, so he had to defeat Harry alone, and although this was unexpected, he still didn't believe Harry could turn defeat into victory.
A sudden burst of music echoed through the air...emanating from every fiber of the web of light vibrating around Harry and Voldemort.
"Nya?" Fish pricked up his ear, "Fawkes' voice?".
∑(?ΦwΦ?)
As the Phoenix sang, the golden thread that bound Harry and Voldemort also changed.... as if great drops of light were sliding down it, and the wands of both of them vibrated more violently.
Then they both noticed that as the golden threads approached them, the wands vibrated more violently and gradually heated up, as if they would explode at any moment.
So both Harry and Voldemort concentrated their minds, trying to force the threads together.
At first, Voldemort, who had more powerful magic, actually had the upper hand, but as the phoenix's song grew louder and louder, Voldemort's irritation grew, and he gradually lost his concentration, and Harry took the opportunity to push the threads back.
Harry had never concentrated so hard in his life, and now all he could think about was forcing the threads back on the tip of Voldemort's wand.... though he wasn't sure what the point of doing so was.
Slowly... slowly... the drop of light moved along the golden thread... trembling for a moment....
Connected to the tip of the wand.
