Chapter 131: Drunk Fish (Edited)

The moment the little fire dragon came out of its shell, everyone was very excited, even Fish.

There was always something special about seeing a new life being born.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" said Hagrid with wide eyes, the newborn Norwegian Ridgeback looked like a crumpled black umbrella, and the orange eyes sticking out were a little creepy to see.

No wonder Hagrid, whose aesthetic has always been a bit unusual, would say that.

The little fire dragon sneezed and a few sparks flew from his nose, then ignored Hagrid's petting and calls of "mommy's here," and staggered over to Fish.

"Roar! Roar!".

The little fire dragon stretched his neck and called to Fish.

Fish reached out and stroked his head, then turned to Hagrid, whose expression was a little stiff, "He said he was hungry, do you have food ready, Big Man?"

"Yes! Yes!"

Hagrid immediately pulled a cask from the side, bent down, uncorked it, and poured the liquid from it into a large bowl.

Fish sniffed and frowned, "Isn't that wine? Minerva says children shouldn't drink." ?ω?

"That's for human children, this child is a fire dragon, he should be fine, and I prepared the brandy with chicken blood for this little one just like the book says." Hagrid explained as he placed the bowl in front of the little fire dragon.

"Is that so, meow?" Fish stared at the little fire dragon, who had buried his head in the bowl and was drinking happily, and gulped, "So I should be able to drink it too, then?"

"I told you human children can't drink." Hagrid laughed bitterly.

"But Fish is a cat, not a human, meow." Fish replied earnestly.

And the little black dragon on the table, after a few gulps of Brandy with chicken blood, raised its head and belched, emitting a cloud of black smoke, then screamed at Fish and pushed the bowl towards him with its dry, thin wings.

Naturally, Fish was not polite and, before Hagrid and the others could react, he grabbed the small bowl of Brandy with chicken blood remaining and drank it all down with a nod.

"Ha~! It's hot." (●`Д′●)

After pouring half a bowl of liquor into his stomach, Fish immediately opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue.

It was spicy, but Fish liked the taste, especially the fruity taste of brandy mixed with blood, which was especially addictive to cats.

It's true that cats can't drink, but Fish didn't have that many contraindications, so he didn't have any bad reactions.

The only bad thing was that he didn't seem to be a good drinker.

"Fish wants more, meow!" ?(●ΦДΦ●)?

With a flushed face, Fish staggered up and reached for the bucket of chicken blood brandy on the table.

"No more, Fish, you're already drunk!" Hagrid hurried to take the barrel away.

"Drunk? What do you mean?"

Fish cocked his head, not seeming to have heard the word much, so....

"Fish isn't drunk, meow! Give me a drink." ? (●`Д′●)?

"Roar! Roar! Roar!"

The little fire dragon on the table flapped its wings and joined Fish in demanding the liquor from Hagrid's hand.

"No! No more for you! If Professor McGonagall finds out, she'll kill me!"

Hagrid was now in a great hurry, he hadn't expected Fish to drink the liquor and he wasn't a good drinker.

He had to get Fish sober as soon as possible, or if he didn't show up in the Great Dining Hall by lunchtime, all hell would break loose.

"Meow!" ?(=`Д′=)?

Just as Hagrid was in a dilemma, Fish had turned into a cat and jumped onto the barrel Hagrid was holding, then raised his paws and slashed at the barrel with two "swipes."

"Poof."

Fish stepped through the opening and jumped onto the barrel.

The crowd gasped, not expecting Fish to be so drunk and reckless.

"Oh my God, Fish, come out quick!" Hermione, the first to come to her senses, jumped up screaming, grabbed Hagrid by the fur and shook him frantically, "Hagrid, hurry, get Fish out of there!"

"Oh! Oh!"

Hagrid quickly tipped the barrel over, spilling the chicken-blooded brandy everywhere.

Fish, however, clung to the inside of the barrel and refused to come out.

"Meow! Meow-meow-meow-meow!"

The drunken kitten clung to the inside of the barrel, and the continuous meowing even acquired a rhythm.

"It's the carol Dumbledore sang at the Christmas party." said Ron confidently, after a moment of careful identification.

"Is this the right time to talk about these things?" Hermione scratched her hair frantically, like a madwoman.

"Meow~~Meow~Ow~~~Meow~~Meow~!!!"

No matter how much Hagrid shook the barrel, spilling chicken-blooded brandy all over everyone present, Fish remained comfortably inside, caroling in a cat-like voice.

"Roar~Roar~Roar~Roar~!"

The little fire dragon at the table licked the wine off the table and sang along with Fish in a childish voice.

Malfoy wiped the brandy mixed with chicken blood on his face and said to Harry with a crooked corner of his mouth, "Indeed, Fish shouldn't have been assigned to Gryffindor in the first place..."

Harry didn't have time to fight with Malfoy at the moment, he was frantically trying to think of a solution.

"Hagrid! Break the barrel! Quick!"

It wasn't that hard to think of a solution, but it took Harry a while to come up with one because the scene was so chaotic and everyone was in such a hurry.

"Oh! Fine, fine." replied Hagrid, raising his fist to slam it against the barrel, but Hermione stopped him.

"Stop it! Don't hit Fish."

"Oh! Oh!"

Hagrid's already malfunctioning mind completely short-circuited when he encountered this situation and he became an answering worm who only knew how to obey the orders of others.

After repeatedly confirming Fish's exact location in the barrel, Hagrid again raised his fist and opened a large hole in the top of the barrel.

"Meow!" ?(=`Д′=)?

The next second, a bright red Fish jumped out of the hole and began to wander around the room, occasionally shaking the liquor from his body, turning Harry and the others, who were already covered in chicken blood wine, into red barrows.

However, at that point they didn't bother to wipe the liquor from their bodies, but instead crowded around Fish, who was still drunk, trying to calm him down.

Even Malfoy was no exception. He was sweating profusely after running vigorously after being drenched in blood and wine. His light blond hair was plastered to his scalp and he looked embarrassed. He completely lost the demeanor of the noble son of the pureblood family he had before.

Of course, Harry and the others weren't much better, and with all their efforts, they could barely keep Fish from running out of the hut.

"Pah!"

A drunken Fish had been running for a while when he fell off the roof without warning, landing squarely on the wooden table.

"Roar! Roar!"

The little fire dragon crawled towards him, lapping up the remaining liquor on Fish's body.

By then, Fish had lost consciousness and was lying on the table, sound asleep.

Hagrid hurried over and picked Fish up, "He's finally calmed down..." After some relief, he became worried again, "It's almost lunchtime, what do I do?"

If the others found out that Fish was drunk on his side, Professor McGonagall would go after him, and his illegal fire dragon breeding would probably be exposed as well.

Gritting her teeth, Hermione pulled out her wand and pointed it at Fish in Hagrid's hand.

"Aguamenti!"

A large amount of water fell on Fish, causing him to wake up instantly.

"Meow?" ∑(=ΦДΦ=)
