There are very few creatures in the Forbidden Forest that have come into conflict with Fish, but it's definitely not just the Acromantula, after all, this kitty runs around and is always running into cranky kids.
But there's a reason Fish is the only one seeking revenge on the Acromantulas.
Aside from the Acromantulas, all the other magical creatures had fought him, but it was these unruly spiders that chased him in numbers from the beginning, and that made Fish very angry.
If they had beaten him in a one-on-one fight, he would have accepted it, but what was the use of having more spiders? And they're all so much bigger than Fish, and they're fighting in packs, how embarrassing!
Even though he was going to get revenge on the Acromantulas, Fish knew he couldn't beat them alone, and with the ferocity of the Acromantulas, there was no way Fish was going to get his animal friends to come risk their lives with him.
So he had to outsmart the spiders!
Having learned a lot from fairy tales, Fish was very confident.
Putting on the invisibility cloak he had borrowed from Harry, Fish took the form of a cat. He had discovered when he had slipped out of the cloak, and when he put on the cloak in human form and turned back into a cat, he became an invisible cat.
After turning back into cat form, Fish cast the druid spell [Remove Scent]. He did not use the Silence spell or the Deodorize spell because both would weaken or even block his senses, and it was better to use these spells that appeared out of nowhere.
After thinking about it for a while, he added [Feather Step] and [Freedom of Movement] before silently moving deeper into Acromantula territory.
Spiders have a plethora of sensory organs, but unlike most creatures, with the exception of a few types of spiders, their senses of sight and smell are not very acute, relying more on the sensory organs and hairs near their legs to sense vibrations around them.
Although Acromantula has eight eyes and excellent eyesight for an arachnid, its sense of smell is almost nonexistent, and its main ecological traits are not fundamentally different from those of a normal spider, as it still relies on vibration detection.
Although Fish had been equipped with a number of enhancers, and cats are known for their ghostly movements, even so, he could not completely block the vibrations he generated when moving, so if he approached some Acromantulas, he was still detected by it.
However, the invisibility cloak came in handy, and even if they sensed Fish's presence, the Acromantulas wouldn't be able to see him.
"Click, click, click, click, click, click..."
Noticing Fish's presence, the Acromantula emitted several clicks with its pincers and looked in Fish's direction, wiggling its eight legs uneasily.
"What's wrong, Lucas?"
Fish's [Feather Step] and [Freedom of Movement] had worked, and the other three nearby Acromantulas had not detected his presence.
"There is an unknown creature in front of me, perhaps an invisible beast."
The Acromantula named Lucas slowly approached Fish and answered his companion's question.
Three other Acromantulas also approached from different directions, trying to surround him.
But before they surrounded him, Fish, who knew he was in a bad situation, got away first.
"He's gone!" shouted Lucas, then emitted several clicks with his pincers and followed close behind Fish.
The other Acromantulas had finally felt some tremors when Fish fled, and immediately followed Lucas' trail.
With his current speed, it wasn't difficult for him to escape from the four spiders, but he had come for revenge, and it wasn't Fish's style to run away without doing anything.
And unlike last time, he didn't run to the Acromantulas' lair, but fled as soon as they spotted him, so they didn't gather a large group of spiders like last time, and the only ones chasing him were Lucas and four other spiders.
So... he had a fight on his hands!
But he had to lead them carefully, otherwise he would be chased by the other Acromantulas, and he would probably have to ask the centaurs to help him again.
Once the centaurs knew he had gone after the Acromantulas, they would probably tell Hagrid, and once Hagrid knew, so would Professor McGonagall, and Fish would be reprimanded and punished again.
Fish kept his speed up to a point where the Acromantulas could follow him, but not catch up, zigzagging quickly through the trees and estimating the distance that separated them from the Acromantulas' lair, and he was ready to stop and fight.
Now, meow!
Fish, who was running, suddenly stopped, turned around and hit the ground with his claws.
[Root Entanglement] [Soft Stone Spell].
The roots of the surrounding trees grew wildly at great speed and tore through the earth, enveloping the four Acromantulas, as the ground turned to mud, causing their eight long legs to sink deep into the mud.
"It's the cat!"
"Kill it!"
"But I can't see it!"
The four Acromantulas emitted several clicks with their claws in rage.
They had never seen the [Root Entanglement] spell, but they were no strangers to the [Soft Stone] spell that had caused them so much discomfort when chasing Fish.
As they struggled to get their feet out of the mud, they bit down hard on the roots and injected their poison into him.
When the Acromantulas' poison entered the roots, they immediately withered and spread to the trees themselves, and the leaves of the surrounding trees turned yellow at an alarming rate.
"Meow...!" (=`Д′=).
A circle of milky white light spread around them, and the plants that were swept by the light became lush in the blink of an eye, and those trees that had withered returned to their original state and their leaves were much greener than before.
At the same time, the roots had also become much thicker and more frenetic, enveloping the four Acromantulas.
[Call of nature: Restore the vitality of the surrounding plants and increase the power of nature's spells.]
The four Acromantulas continued to fight, but their poison ran out after a few times, and they could only defend themselves with their own strength.
The Acromantulas were nothing less than magical creatures of class XXXXX, and as they fought, the roots that enveloped them began to crack.
But Fish was not going to stand idly by and watch them break free, and deftly applied various combat buffs.
[Ant's Strength] [Bull's Brute Strength] [Wild Power] [Beast Claw].
"Meow!" ?(=`Д′=)?
Fish's claws, empowered by the spell, struck a gigantic Acromantula, but only cut through a bit of its black fur, leaving only superficial scratches where it had been struck.
Fish stepped back and looked in amazement at the Acromantula, which was almost unscathed, as he had just scratched it, just as he had scratched the spell (Protego) from the black-robed monster.
He had overestimated these big spiders as much as he could, but he hadn't expected them to be much stronger than he had thought.
Still, Fish wasn't going to back down.
Or rather, it was better.
Fish licked his paws, a fierce gleam in his emerald green eyes.
