Road Trip, I

It has now been well over three months and a half since I started school.

It seems that Luke and Sean planned to go on a road trip with me and Seren. Like a celebration for finishing the first semester.

We are almost reaching the middle of the winter and the temperatures have dropped quite rapidly, but for me, Sean, and Seren it isn't an issue since we can activate our mana cloak.

As for Luke, he seemed mostly absorbed in his work. Most of the time not being home even though he attended school. Like that, I never really found the timing to teach him. Well, that's for the better.

As for Seren and Sean, yeah they are still the same idiots as they have ever been.

I've gotten quite close to him, his weak mentality is a little issue but that doesn't matter. And Seren… Yes, I haven't progressed at all whatsoever. It is not that I have gotten scared or nervous, it's just there isn't an opening where I can make a move…

The school, yeah that isn't a problem. Now I am in the same class as Sean, since they skipped me a grade after a month. I don't blame them because I already know all the material of lessons they had to teach us. So now I am a second grader too.

Oh yes, I got confronted by seven delinquents once. They wanted to beat me up and tell me my place since the girls were fawning over me. I slapped each once, blowing them two meters minimally. Later on, they asked to be my students.

I agreed to fight with only one per day, so I basically beat them once every week.

For now, I told them not to meet up during the winter break, but I know that I almost broke their ribs over four times, so I kind of feel bad, I should give them a souvenir when I get back. It is also true that they've become quite capable, when they will be able to use magic they might get even more powerful.

At first, I thought that this world was all amazing and difficult to stay in. But because of the circumstances that I got teleported here now, after these months, I am quite attracted to this living style. But I still miss my old world, my family, my grandpa, and my little brother.

Though leaving all those things aside, here I am right now in the car with Sean, Seren, and Luke. The red-haired has a driving patent so he's driving the car we rented. We are going to a resort town. We will stay there till after New Year.

Sean booked a villa and there are stores around. Seren took the necessary items like brushes and stuff, and now we are set for this road trip although it's more like going on vacation.

While I was here for almost four months now, and without a clue, I know that it won't always be music and harmony, for that reason, I kept training vigorously here too, and finally broke through my previous Potential.

My former rune was a King-Potential whereas I am now a Queen-Potential Mage, I've kept this a secret from both Sean and Seren because I didn't want them to know my rune was weaker than theirs.

But even if I told them, I was stronger than them. Even if they team up together in a two-on-one, I could still beat them both without breaking a sweat.

The reasons are: I don't waste movements, I trained ever since I was a kid, Magic is as natural as breathing for me, and I keep a rational mind which makes me able to envision the future I want to reach.

I want to enjoy this time I have now with these close friends and even family that we are on winter break. I will finally relax from all these straining thoughts.

The trip took quite some time to get there by car, around four hours and thirty-two minutes. I am tired as heck, and so are the other members of the squad.

We rented a villa, I think that's what they called it. The rent per night is fifty-five dollars it seems. It's pretty expensive if you ask me but seeing how the object is two floors and quite tall and wide, I got nothing to complain about.

"Now, let us indulge in this place's luxuries."

I said that without a sheer bit of knowledge of what truly awaited me here.
