Chapter 11: The true wang clan (1)

" That Wang clan better not have what I think it has" shouted a sort of golden whisp thing.

Naturally, this was the system, and it was currently rushing straight towards the Wang clan, to confirm his suspicions.

When it finally reached the Wang clan, what he saw greatly differed from literally every other building ot has seen in the last couple of day. The Wang clans entire base looked extremely futuristic from the outside, there were buildings made of only glass and nearly every building was stacked high into the sky. It was almost reminiscent of modern day Dubai. The system was about to go straight into the base, but there was one small problem

" ugh my celestial form is too shiny and high profile" , if any normal human were to see a tiny floating orb inside of their 'base's then, of they were not mad, they would try to find out about what that thing was, basic human curiosity.

But because the system would be this tiny floating orb, it could not go straight into the Wang clans base.

" Hmm I have an idea "

It was a normal day for the guards patrolling the perimeter of the wang clan. Alex was one such guard, He had a wife and 2 kids, he was the only one working to support them, but he was able to do that easily. The wang clan was extremely Rich, therefore they could pay their guards very well.

It was a normal night for Alex, nobody really causes trouble around the wang clan, usually his job consisted of just walking around and getting paid for it, boring but pays well. everything was normal.

" hey alex " a voice sounded from in front of him,

" hi" he responded without thinking.

A couple minutes passed for Alex before he finally realised something was wrong, that person from before looked oddly like ... him.

"Shoot!" he immediately got a communication Jade from his storage ring and put a message in there, it said 'An intruder has infiltrated our base'

Even though it might seem like the wang vland had pretty bad defense, They didn't, because it was just slightly past midday, people would pass by the wang clan quite often, so the guards wouldn't report suspicious people unless they tried getting in.

Just a few seconds later in the Wang clans meeting board...

" so that's why we need to protect this secret with our lives." the Head of the Wang clan said to the other elders.

Suddenly his communication Jade started vibrating, a message had come through.

" Wait let me check this" the clan head told the other elders.

" oh, it seems like someone's been going round killing our guards, it seems like he's making his way over here, he's already in the inner East Court" The clan head told the other elders what was going on

" clan head, do you think the person could be coming for the 'thing' we have" another elder asked.

" hahaha, nobody but us knows about this, the guy's probably here to exact revenge, we've had alot of these situations before" the clan head responded.

" well, follow me, we have some spare time dont we? let's go see who is audacious enough to cause trouble in our Wang clan" chuckled the clan head.

around half of the elder went to see what was going on, the others went back to what they were doing before the meeting.

Meanwhile in the inner east court, the system, oblivious to the ruckus it had just caused possessed another body, this time it was one of the elders on duty.

" I can sense the spatial interference more now that I'm here, hmm I guess it's in the dead centre of the wang clan " the system said to itself

It then set off to where the spatial interference was most powerful. The centre of the wang clan.

" oh, it seems like he's gotten away, " the clan head said as he , along with some other elders gazed down at the body of the head guard.

" clan head, why was the head guard even in the inner clan, he was supposed to be patrolling the outer clan" an elder asked

The clan head then fell into contemplation, after a while he then said " all of the dead people we have found so far have been guards, that have all not been where they were supposed to be. I think were dealing with a vengeful spirit" The clan head announced

all the elders around him gasped in shock, " a vengeful spirit, you mean the ones that possess people" an elder asked

" Yes, this is bad, we need to capture the spirit before it causes a catastrophe" the clan head said urgently.

" Search everywhere, If you see any suspicious individuals, apprehended them and take them to me" The clan head said to all the elders.

Today was going to be a long day...
