When the Creed duo were going at it, new arrivals came from behind that kickstarted the busy Saturday.
An Italian old man greeted the Creeds along with the actors that should be doing some final dubbing work.
The old man is AD3 Bruno Verdino, the designated director of 'The Man without Gravity'.
If AD1 is a film professor and AD2 is an outcast British film enthusiast, then AD3 is an Italian director that is restricted from normal modes of filming as Sullivan had been.
Alexander didn't know who the old Italian had offended but it should be the Italian counterpart of Kirk Douglas.
In any case, when doing the pre-production planning for The Man without Gravity, the old man was more enthusiastic than the idea boy.
The Man without Gravity is distinctly Italian in theme but with English-speaking characters that Alexander kitted to hit the mainstream.
It also has a lot of technical innovations as a floating baby, boy, and man have to make use of filming tricks.
With old Verdino's input, Alexander can expect that it wouldn't be any worse than the 2010s original.
The new actors weren't anything special from Alexander's perspective, only that this script still hooked a future Italian model with considerable name recognition in the future, which is Monica Bellucci.
She plays the Gravity-less man's grown-up love interest and effectively helped in future offline sales.
Her future Malena and Irreversible must be a best seller in that area.
Alexander can't help but sigh at these consecutive future stars being baited early and being used by him to make future Blockbuster-esque sales.
-------
Sullivan and the Italian group proceeded with their work after some greetings while Alexander and his pretty companion moved to the second floor.
When the couple walked through the furnished halls, Jennifer suddenly voiced out. "You should know that she's hot but too old for you."
"What do you mean?" Alexander could only askingly reply at her obvious territorialism.
"I saw you giving glances to that Italian girl. Don't even think about it." Jennifer warned this little boyfriend that she obviously couldn't control. "When working for Etoile, I saw her among Italian models, who would've thought she would have already jumped to acting at this time."
"Models have it a lot worst than actresses. When a little guy like you can take me, then as a model a lot of guys must have already taken her." She added while taking glances at the rooms and all manner of equipments she passed by. "I just want you to remember that I am your recently ripened and exclusive fruit while she has already been tasted by a lot of people."
"Haha! I really must have done some things with your head to make you talk like that." Alexander could only shake his head at her nonsense. They just did the deed last night and everything escalated to this level.
"Why shouldn't I worry? That Italian girl is pretty much an adult version of me. You do that to a pretty girl like me means that you might actually have urges to a gorgeous version of me." Jennifer said as a matter of fact. "Although, I would probably be much more gorgeous than her."
Alexander could only flick her boob to stop her nonsense. Jennifer grumbled at his boyfriend's privileges and finally quieted down.
In any case, they already reached their destination and their little stroll made him see how his vision was put into reality.
For an entire half of the second-floor area, six spacious rooms plus 2 soundproof recording rooms are what occupied it.
Each of the spacious rooms had enough computers, pieces of equipment and materials for a complete animation team to work on it.
20-25 people on each team were what Alexander planned to be on the safe side.
The convenience of the software and his knowledge of the most popular cartoons should be enough for each team to be able to do their task.
Given that they are likely to work on the 11-minute or less cartoons, sharing a cartoon or focusing on one should be the versatile part of the six-roomed configuration.
For the other half, it is essentially quartered to fit two big animation production teams.
These two rooms wouldn't be focusing on the 11-minute cartoons but on the 20-minute ones.
Just the incredible manpower and longevity of the animation series that Alexander wants to make them work on should be enough in the mega animation rooms.
These rooms even have their own recording studio to prioritize their own productions.
Of course, basic rest rooms and mingling rooms are fitted out in the area. Eating, drinking, talking, and all the things that should be done in a break room should be in a break room.
The specialized computers and papers are not too accepting of human liquids and food crumbs.
Alexander has grand plans for the animation market that Ghibli, Disney, and Japanese anime would probably be scared of if they knew it.
The second floor is just the second floor. The contents on the third floor should be considered an extension of the animation and film department as it works on games, toy planning, and digital effects.
Those three areas still need more resources though, so they can be set aside for now.
All the technical people, dubbing masters, and music specialists that he asked from his grandfather would rotate among the six teams to facilitate the stuff aside from the hand-drawn animation.
The file folder that Sullivan handed to him earlier happen to contain the animation staff that he would be working with.
They were all quick drawers that passed under Alexander's entrance trial to try and recreate his shoddy Spongebob drawing within 3 minutes.
Of course, no one could do it perfectly but those with considerable liking and finesse would be on the passing mark.
They also need to have a background in being colorists and background work. There are also other specialists in character design and all the animation areas of contention.
Finding them from this era where Hanna Barbera, Disney, and a handful few animation studios are hiring is in between easy and hard.
There were surpluses but they were also lacking for most groups. The CalArts of the era still haven't branched on to digital drawings since Alexander himself is thinking of simplifying it.
Clearly, manpower isn't his main problem but the training seminars he had to give as a non-animator but a software maker.
His assets are coming together but training should take time.
This is just going to be plain horrendous, silly, and more disgusting than my main trashy work.
You've been warned!
