Five incidences

Jay spoke as Elliot began surfing the contents. "There were five such events where four of them were cases of where entire gang was annihilated in different countries. The investigating teams as well as the forces in the dark who were interested in these cases met a dead end. The police gave up because the gangs annihilated were the ones, they were trying to get rid of hence they were quite happy that someone else did their job so as a reward to the perpetrator, they closed off the cases as for the dark forces, they found it a waste of resources to continue with the case due to lack of the evidence."

Jay then opened a page which showed the details of the gangs annihilated as well as the countries that they belong.

Kai nodded, "What about the fifth case?"

"The fifth case is the most enthralling. The victim of the fifth case is not a gang but a place. If not for the similar situation as well as lack of evidence, we would not have noticed the similarity between these cases. The fifth case involves a laboratory in the Warerior peaks, a mountain range in the country of Geblurg. The most noteworthy thing is that nobody was aware of the existence of such a place until this event took place."

"The explosion was so huge that even the villagers residing in a village at least fifteen kilometres away heard it and informed the authorities. If not for those villagers, the entire incident would have gone unnoticed. Moreover, the government of the country lockdown the news and no one in the public knows about it except for those villagers who to were given huge benefits to keep their mouth shut. Even the new generation of the village are unaware of this."

"Good job! Elliot commended Jay, forgetting all about his anger. "What else did you find?"

"Boss, look at these images. These are of the places around the incident sites when they took place. There is this one person who can be seen loitering around the bars nearby. One or two times can be a co-incidence. But not every time. Even in the case of Warerior peaks, this man was reported to be spotted in the nearby villages. Although we could not get pics due to lack of technology in those areas, he apparently caused a huge squabble in one of the bars thus some people recognised him" Jay finished his report.

"Find this man" Elliot decreed. "I want to see this man in front of me within days.

"Our men are already tracing him." Jay answered, already customary of his working methods.

"You may leave and concentrate with this matter for now. I have Erena with me for the matters of the company" Elliot said.

Jay nodded. 'Boss you were waiting for this moment, weren't you? To chase me out of here so you could spend more time with miss Erena. You don't have to make such excuses. You can be honest with me' Jai monologued in his mind wiping his non-existent tears, as he walked towards the office door.

Just as he reached his desk, he saw Rain standing up and heading towards the juicer with his boss's glass. 'Sure enough. I am just a cannon fodder in boss's love story. Bohoo…'

"Erena, inform all the team leaders from the morning's meeting that I want the new proposals by the end of the day." Elliot asked Rain as she put down his juice on his desk.

"You look tired, Kai. You should take a half day off today and rest. As a president in such a huge corporation your health is important. Those proposals could wait until tomorrow." Rain said looking at Elliot. She could not help but nag at him at times which was unlike of her, which she had not realised, yet.

Elliot lifted his head as he picked up his juice and bam! "Alright." He was bound to listen to her. But he was a little disappointed as he did not want to part ways with her yet. There was still four hours left for the office to end. Just then he got an idea.

Elliot smirked, "Don't think that you would get to slack of your work just because I decided to take a half day. As I have assigned Jay with another work for the time- being, follow me to my home. There are some documents that needs to be looked upon and some which needs to be rearranged. Help , me with them while I catch up on my sleep.
