Opening the door to his apartment, he entered and placed the bag down on the floor.
Taking off his shoes, he put them in place and took off his blazer, hanging it on the hanger.
Walking further inside the house, he looked over to the kitchen, seeing Rin making something.
Smiling slightly, he walked over and hugged her from behind, looking over her shoulder at what she was making.
"Where were you today on orientation?"
She leaned her head on him, looking up at him curiously.
Ayato just shrugged, he knew she was looking for him.
"Our homeroom teacher brought us out in the field and gave us a physical test."
She hummed and went back to cutting vegetables and putting them in the boiling water along with some meat, she was making soup.
"Did you like your classes?"
She shrugged.
Frowning, he straightened up, lips thinning into a frown.
"Alright, whose body do I need to hide?"
Startled, she turned around, looking at him incredulously.
"What?! What do you mean? It was just an average, boring day in school, why would you need to hide a body!?"
Letting out a small "oh", he shrugged and stole a quick kiss before he sat down on the table.
Blushing, she sighed and sat down across from him, looking at him pointedly.
"How was your day?"
He shrugged as well, his day was nothing much if he was honest, pretty boring.
"It was basically normal school except for the test part, still got the first place, though there were some interesting people there... And the guy we saw on the entrance day, he's quite the character."
She smirked, shaking her head, Ayato would see to it that he would annoy the poor boy, even more than he would annoy some "Interesting" in their old school.
"Just don't cause trouble, did you reveal the air control?"
Ayato just shook his head, propping his head on his hand.
"Well, you do you, just keep the school in one peace, will you?"
Snorting, he watched her as she stood up and went to the boiling pot, and turned off the heat.
... Nice.
___
"I AM... COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"
Ayato just stared, All might, the number one hero, wasn't, in fact, coming through the door like a normal person.
He was bent at the waist, parallel to the floor, and was leaning inside the classroom.
He raised an eyebrow behind his newly made mask from the support department, it was one full cloth, circling around his whole head only covering his eyes. The material was soft and comfortable and not see-through. He couldn't see anything right now.
Ignoring the outburst of voices around and the... Passionate? Speech All might gave, and stood up to take his hero uniform from the wall.
Why were they in the wall? Pfft, be had no idea.
Humming slightly, he walked out of the classroom.
The classes here were nothing special, there were still basic classes like English, Math, Japanese, history and so on but they had heroics three times a day and their P.E. Was intense, pro-heroes were assisting their training and pointing out if they were making any mistakes.
This was the end of their first week here and he was... Bored. This was so stupid, why couldn't there be some sort of threat so that he could just blow some steam off?
Sighing absently, he looked to the side where a spiky-haired boy was seemingly staring at him.
"Sup?"
The boy jumped slightly, seemingly realizing that Ayato could actually "See" him.
"You can see me?"
At the question, Ayato shrugged, as if it wasn't weird to stare at a seemingly blind guy as they walked.
"Not "see", more like "know" your there, just like I know how there is a turn we need to take a few feet ahead."
He let out an "Oh" before they descended into silence.
"So... Echolocation? But... That strength and scales don't explain it..."
He tried to guess what his quirk was. Ayato pursed his lips, seemingly debating something before finally opening his mouth.
"Basically, I can turn into a dragon, and that power was thanks to training since I was young, the healing factor made my muscles twice as strong each time they healed after training."
As long as he kept his air manipulation secret a little longer, it would have been fine. Most of what he could do relied on his physical abilities or his air manipulation. And he didn't even explain how he knew where things were.
"That's so manly!"
Manly, huh? He didn't see it as "Manly" he saw it as sad. Knowing that the only thing distracting him from training like a maniac was a small, adorable girl... Now that he thinks about it, if it wasn't for her, he might as well be a lost cause, hell, he was only here to protect her if she chose the hero course and he can still protect her even if she is in another class.
His parents can handle themselves, being ex-heroes and they would protect Rin's parents.
They would be fine, he wouldn't trust some random heroes to protect Rin, however, they sucked, the security might be advanced and all but they could still be bypassed.
"My name is Eijirou Kirishima!"
He extended his free hand and Ayato shifted his briefcase that held his uniform to the other hand before taking the extended one.
"Ayato Iwasaki, nice to meet you."
He smiled and he suspected that if he wasn't wearing a blindfold, he would have to squint due to the brightness.
Well, he seemed enthusiastic, at least.
"Pleasure is all mine, man."
Well... Plus one friend?
The grand total was... Two! Yey!
