Preparations For War

"The troops are ready and awaiting your command." Rudolph said.

"Thank you, Rudolph. We shall be prepared for the goddess when the sun sets" Santa responded grimly.

By now it was obvious that there was going to be a full fledged battle but unlike before where their master could defeat the enemy, this one was one where he was weaker and so the success of the battle was already bleak even before it began.

Amanda could feel the tension in the air and with the way Santa Claus stood ready, his face has taken on what she would like to describe as his battle face.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" Amanda said to Flora who was seated with her eyes closed as if in prayer.

"You can do nothing concerning this foe, we can only hope for Santa's win against her."

Amanda nodded and waited along with them.
