An army in the northern kingdom then began their March but little did they know shadowy red eyes can be seen lurking in the dark ready to attack.

" reporting your majesty the ranger squad is now successfully on the enemy's territory. " a soldier then said looking at him I nod and stand up from my seat.

" ready 15 scouts to travel in circles and inform if there is any trap. " I commanded and the man nodded and then left just then another soldier also come in.

" Pardon me your majesty but a letter came up. " the soldier said and put the letter on my table then he go out after bowing respectfully.

Looking at the paper on my table I then open it where I see an information letter.

` Hello if anyone can find this letter please give it to the Zingquang and if emperor Quin read this I the tier 10 commander long Xu and my other companion got ambushed after scouting the Heman Mountains making our way towards the Jingqua kingdom 5 days ago please I beg you this is our hope of escaped, all my female comrades became a sex toy while my male comrades became a plaything for torture. ` looking at the letter my curious head then question.

" Sergeant Aoi warned the scout that I just commanded to avoid going to mountain Heman and ready my armor and horse we will rescue our locked brothers!!! " I shouted making the sergeant nod and hurriedly ran outside.

And while looking at the map servants then came in with my armor in their hands, nodding they then put the armor on me after that a servant then give me the armor helmet which is a tiger dragon that covers my whole face while the top is a horn.

Walking outside I then see my black horse in black armor after sitting at the saddle I then turn my head where I see rangers in their horses ready to depart from the camp looking in another direction again I then see my ministers who are now on their full armor I then nod.

" I will leave everything in your hand grand duke Yang. " I let out making Yang's father nodded.

" I will manage wisely your majesty good luck with the rescue operation. " grand duke Yang then said and without wasting time I then nudged my lower leg and the horse ran while the others also follow my lead.

• Long Xu pov •

In a dark dungeon, a wide metal bar can be seen that has only one person while the other bars are full of men and women that have many bruises while others are slowly dying because of thirst and hunger.

" We have been trapped in the dungeon for about 1 month and 13 days without light even if I look for soldiers or people that have lanterns or torches still nothing. " I thought in my head I know the world can be cruel but I will still not lose hope even if I gave my last breath I must not disappoint my home and family that is waiting for me.

And while praying for someone to save me and my comrades a huge explosion then surprise me making inside the dungeon scattered with dust which also make my comrades cough and close their eyes.

" scattered around make sure to kill every enemy soldier around this dungeon. " a shout then echoed making my comrade's eyes and me widen.

" open up all the cells and help the others get out, me and my army will take care of your tail...GO FAST DONT EVER LOOK ON YOUR BACK!! " our emperor then commanded.

" HAI!! " the others shouted back and continue helping me and my comrades while the emperor rode his horse and go in the back where I see dozens of enemy army forcefully pulling forward but then pulled back by the emperor's army even if they are many they cannot overawhelm the force power of the zingquang soldiers.

• quin pov •

And without any second waste blood then splattered the brick floor while I and my soldiers is pulling forward.

The others who are locked up are now free making me relief but still putting my full attention on the enemy army without wasting time I then pull out my sword and quickly slice everyone who is in my way making the enemy soldier pull back even further and retreat in the end.

" don't let them escape kill everyone who is on your way. " I commanded and my soldiers nodded and march inside.

Looking at the dead soldier who is in a lake of blood a bird then sounded above making me look up where I see a dove.

" it's Yang's messenger bird. " I thought in my head and the bird then gently landed on my arm looking at it I then notice a piece of paper.

Getting it and putting the bird on my shoulder I then opened the paper where I see a backward letter which I understand easily.

" My dear emperor Quin please return safely with my father the grand duke, our future child and I will be waiting on your arrival. Consort Yang. " reading it my cold face then softens and I smile before kissing the letter that is written by my beloved Yang.

" don't worry love I will come back as I promise. " I mumbled and put the letter in my inventory and put the bird in my front where it sit obediently.

" sit there for a while little birdie I will feed you later when we come back. " I said smiling at it and the dove chirped happily after that my army who is with me then come back with the head of the enemy commander and others.

" ready for departure we will return now. " I shouted and the soldiers then nod and follow my lead.

returning I then see all of the locked up soldiers now on full bandages I then look at my back and nod making all the soldiers who are on my back scattered and lay on the floor while others took off their armor and help the injured one

Just then commander Long shu who is in his brother then ran towards me and kneel making the soldiers around look at him and also kneel with their heads on the dirt floor.

" your majesty I thank you for rescuing my brother I swear on my life that I will serve the empire with the best I can do. " Long Shu then said.

" rise everyone and also you commander Long it is my duty to look onto my people. " I said and the man stand up and give me his smile and ran to his injured brother who is now on his camp.

After that, the soldiers then go to their business and I just stretch my back and get off of the horse, and gently took the bird with me to my camp after I leave my horse in the servant's hand and ordered some bacon for the bird to eat.

Entering my camp I then put the bird on my table who has a map that has 20 chess pieces scattered around.

" Now sit there alright birdie I will get some paper and if the food arrives just eat it. " I said and look out at some empty paper.

After returning with a paper in hand I then notice the bird eating blissfully looking at it I just chuckle and without wasting time I then took out my brush pencil and write.

After that I then roll it out and put in on the bird's foot and pat it's head putting shield protection on the small dove before taking it and escort the bird out side where it flaps it's wings in the sky.

I then go to my camp bed and lay down after that I then close my eyes with my guard up.
